H1mynameisLarry doesn't seem to have much to do besides post on here. The cops definitely broke laws prior to any response from the protesters (locking students in a building and blocking fire exits, all without even an informal warning to anyone). Then they proceeded to throw that kid to the ground and go at him for several minutes (H1mynameisLarry's unethical branding of this kid as "a weak faggot" is telling). Truly horrific behavior from people whose job is to protect these students.

The administration can object if there are classes in session, but, for the most part, they had every right to enter the building (citmedialaw org/legal-guide/access-public-­property). I agree with you that this video was edited in poor taste, but the police are defending crooks and there are no two ways to view that.

A protest is ONLY legal in The United States Of America is if people listen and not shove through cops. When you shove through cops when they are telling you not to or disobey them, they have a legal right to end your protest. The cops obviously gave these hippies to voice their concerns early in the protest but things eventually got out of line.
