your video is informative and so very true...you will never stop some people from eating other living things, (meat) but there needs to be more humane ways of doing it...I have almost totally stopped eating meat...just by seeing lots of the videos on here...People that are so brutal and have no conscious are criminal in every way. I do believe the people that are cruel and mean to defenseless animals will get theirs eventually...and I would not want to be standing in their shoes..
I would like someone to make a movie showing human beings in factory farms being treated the way animals are treated. Yeah, no, that would never go over. I don't even think I would want to watch that but it would get a point across. The Peta ads for KFC using people in chicken costumes is a good start, as well as the woman in a fur coat getting clubbed to death.
Dude, we are better than the fucking animals. We're smarter and we have more technology so we win every time. You're at the top of the food chain so start acting like it instead of being a pussy vegan faggot that's afraid to drive a car an start living in the real world.
We only THINK we are better than the animals because we say we are better. If it's a choice between saving a human's life or an animal's life, most people will choose to save a human's life (which is not a bad thing). If the evolution of numerous "less intelligent" species had not occurred, we wouldn't even exist.
I don't think its debatable that we are the superior species. Orangutans and dolphins have rocks and sticks and noises that they make. Anywhere any animal goes they have to walk or swim. We have cars and ships and planes. When animals fight, they use their teeth and their claws. We have machine guns, bombs, tanks, and nuclear weapons. If it was us vs animals, we would win ever single time because animals have one thing in common - they're all fucking stupid.
Dude, calm down. I'm not saying that animals are the most brilliant creatures on earth. I'm saying that it's wrong to call them dumb just because they don't live up to the standard of intelligence that humans have decided upon. Read Diet for a New America sometime. It will open your eyes. And quite frankly, humans may be intelligent enough to invent all of the amazing machines that you mentioned but we don't seem to be smart enough to put them all to good use. We're destroying the earth.
Who the fuck cares. Once we finish destroying this planet, we'll find another one to live on. Fuck the animals and the earth. I eat lots of red meat, I live in a big house with a coal furnace, and I drive a heavy duty pickup that blows a 50 ft plume of smoke every time I step on the gas. My belt buckle weighs 5 lbs. Okay, I can see that there is absolutely no point in trying to have a civilized conversation with an ignorant, apathetic, and inbred redneck. Sorry I wasted my breath.
Anyone who thinks we should give rights to animals doesn't live in the real world. Its called the circle of life. Animals are born, animals live, and animals are killed by people if they don't die of natural causes or get eaten by other animals. One of my other favorite activities is to go manatee hunting with a friend of mine that lives in florida.

Myself, although I don't believe it's necessarily wrong to eat animals, but torture and suffering like this is inexcusible. Vegitarians and vegans have my upmost support and respect.
i think the next best thing for us meat eaters to do is eat free range organic meat, ateast u now they are not abused and are being killed in a humane manner... hopfully.
ummmmmm i would be a vegetarian, but just stop and think,: these animals are getting killed for no reason because we wont eat them,so i am not a vegatarian. but i see your point though
I eat meat if the animal is treated well. This is a disgusting truth of our species.
We may be humans, but that doesn't mean we are humane. That is the reason I am ashamed to be human at times; look at us, what we've done, and what we put these poor creatures through.
We can have a happy lifestyle, but why can't they?
The only way to convince our kind of this horror is to actually DO it to humans; otherwise, they throw it off like it's not a problem.
Was the animal "treated well" if it was killed at a fraction of it's life span? Was it "treated well" if it was killed at all? Especially considering it was not "necessary". Man lives fine on a plant based diet. Veganism is the only ethical course if one wishes to prevent needless suffering.
I became a Vegetarian due to health reasons at age 48. I raised animals in 4-H and hunted all my life, but always respected the life of animals and would NEVER cause suffering. Now at age 50 my blood pressure AND cholesterol levels are that of a 20 year old. The money I save on groceries allow me to send an extra 40 to 50 dollars per month to mission feeding programs at my Church. EVERYONE should quit eating animals, regardless of their "politics"...
i only eat chicken if its from an organic food store because the only reason iam a vegetarian is how the animals were treated before they were made into food for you to be full for an hour but then go out and eat another
and yes the stuff i use are organic aswell because they test chemicals from that product on animals for all of the retards that were to stupid to figure that out already
If you eat chicken, you are not a vegetarian. I don't understand how people can say that they would eat meat if the non-human animals were treated 'nicely'. Non-human animals are not objects that exist for our benefit, when it comes to a capacity for suffering, happiness, a desire to live etc., they are our equals.
" I raised animals in 4-H and hunted all my life, but always respected the life of animals and would NEVER cause suffering"
How are you a "vegetarian" if you are eating chicken? Words have meaning. Vegetarians do not consume animal flesh - that means chicken, fish, etc. as they are all animals. There is no "kind" meat. It all comes from cruelty and killing. Go Vegan
As for abortions don't have sex, this way you won't have to decide. Imagine humans going extinct because of not enough food for all the babies. So don't have sex, except pro create and condoms are not fail safe.
You can eat meat, but only if the animal was treated well. Since most are not so being vegitarian is your best. Look at animals in the wild they lived a happy life until a predater killed them. So only buy meat at farm markets or not at all.
Horrible, sick, motherfucking bastards!! I hope they'll all burn in hell!! God, let them suffer slow and cruel deaths!! Burn them, torture them, rip of their skins, let them feel what they do to these helpless beings!! Let the death of these animals be avenged!! They do these things just because they can, just because these poor things can't fight back!! Curse these sick and shameless fools!!
I am not a vegan or vegetarian and I don't have a problem with eating meat, but I do agree that the WAY in which the animals are slaughtered is very cruel, and needs to be changed. Western society also slaughters far too many animals, so that we can have "comfort" food rather than essential food. We are greedy.
Exactly. I get so sick of people saying this has to be done to provide food...really? People have raised their own animals and gardens and survived just fine. These slaughter houses provide lazy, wasteful people with poor dead animals to line the garbage bins in schools, hospitals and mall food courts.
Hmmmm, it makes me wonder......if the corporations evil, or is it mankinds nature to be evil. I mean we who accept that meat is being produced this way, we're just as evil as the ones that produce the meat, aren't we? I admit, I might be evil suporting this, but it's way I've chose to live, and if you anti-meat-eaters take away my right of choosing my way of life, wont that make you evil to? My point here should be that it's very hard to define who's evil.
It's not as simple as that. First of all "anti-meat-eaters" aren't taking away any rights. In fact anti meat eaters pay taxes like everyone else. The most corrupt use of these tax dollars seems to be granted to meat and dairy industry to subsidize their diet which contributes to higher health care cost and more disease incidences with shorter life expectancy. Not only are vegetarians not taking away any of your rights, they are feeding u w/corrupt subsidies.
Crisology, journeyman47 and I weren't talking about the health benefits of a Veganism. We were discussing the importance of having compassion for all living things, no matter the species.
I believe that animal rights activists and pro-lifers share a common goal and a unity of purpose. It's hypocritical to say that being cruel to an animal is wrong, but tearing a baby apart in the womb is okay.
Just to clarify, an embryo is the scientific term for a fertilized egg up nine weeks of development, though the baby's heart starts beating as early as six weeks.
Roe vs. Wade allows for abortions up through the third trimester, long after the embryonic stage.
As far as bringing up this subject here on an animal rights video, really I was just curious about savethecreature's opinion on the subject. I think that fighting for the rights of all living things should include ALL living things.
Fighting to save animals is fighting to save ppl since animal food contributes to disease/shorter life expectancy.
Most of the objection to eating meat revolves around the abuse of animals being retained for the unhealthy diet subsidized by the government, not the actual kill but the kill is unnecessary & requires tax $ nonetheless.
Abortion has parallels w/eating eggs. It is just 1 aberrant issue around eating animals.
crisology: "Abortion has parallels w/eating eggs. It is just 1 aberrant issue around eating animals."
Wow. Did you just compare eating an unfertilized chicken egg with killing a viable, healthy, unborn human baby? I don't even know what to say to that.
I respect vegetarians and animal rights activists. Hell, I even admire them. But clearly, you can't look past your veganism enough to see that the world has lots of horrible things going on in it...and animal cruelty is just ONE of them.
No, relax. I said parralels, not equivelent. Read and quote correctly.
Before u "even know what to say to that." Try to read without lying.
u respect meatarians and factory farm abuse. u admire mutilation and slaughtering. But clearly you lie and can't read and over react. It's always amazing how Homo corpus consumere is so oblivious and desensitized to traumatizing flesh that is eaten and fed to baby humans, shortening their life yet they are hyperdefensive to analogy.
I have an idea, why don't you spell out these "parallels" in detail so your true meanings are clarified?
________________________
crisology: "u respect meatarians and factory farm abuse. u admire mutilation and slaughtering."
Okay, I really don't know where that came from. I said I respect and admire VEGETARIANS and ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS. Not meatarians and factory farm abuse. How did you misunderstand that?
It came from your insincerity about respecting vegetarians. I just took your veg respect terms that u don't identify with & replaced them w/meatarian terms after u jumped on the tired old fallacy of bifurcation blaming animal lovers for not liking ppl as much. If eating meat were healthy u might be able to pit animal lovers against ppl, until then you're doing the opposite & if u try to pit me against loving ppl by misquoting me then you're arguing w/yourself & losing.
Okay, I took a couple of days to calm down. Now, I can reply. I really don't think you know me well enough to decide that I'm insincere about respecting and admiring certain groups of people.
I didn't misquote you, I used your exact words. Apparently we disagree on the definition of the word "analogy". Here's how my dictionary defines it:
1. a similarity between like features of two things, on which a comparison may be based
(cont'd) But that's all irrelevant because, as I've maintained from the very beginning, I believe that TRUE compassion is not limited by age, race, gender, or species. It's about fighting for the rights of those that cannot fight for themselves. Defending the defenseless, protecting the weak and the innocent.
It's a noble cause, and one that I believe we share.
I'm sorry if you disagree with that, crisology, but it's my opinion and it's not going to change.
I never disagreed w/compassionate and natural diet of veg and fruit for all ppl/races, species, the born and unborn. On topic- meat diets equate to increased disease and a decreased lifespan.
But by and large the majority of those affected by choices of inefficient meat diet are not only not "defenseless" or "innocent", rather most eating meat are the perpetrators in an active cycle of self defeat. Widespread problem of mothers and babies not being able to care for themselves does exist.
"u jumped on the tired old fallacy of bifurcation blaming animal lovers for not liking ppl as much."
I wasn't blaming anybody. I said I feel an urgency for the cause against abortion, as I'm sure you feel an urgency for your cause. I don't expect you to hate abortion as much as I do, and you can't expect me to be as passionately vegan as you are. In the end, I was only trying to find "parallels" (your favorite word) between animal rights and unborn-human rights.
u took your nonquote out of context but I also find abortion repugnant. I don't expect u to be as passionate about vegan as abortion, nor do I expect u to be as passionate about red as blue since they aren't mutually exclusive, so there is no need to suggest ppl who care for animals do so at expense of ppl. In fact the opposite is true. Factory farming is exacerbated w/unsustainable population, making abortion beyond off topic unless it helps manage current corruption.
An analogy takes 1 aspect & does not suggest that the 2 issues are comparable in general. I have 2 eyes like my dog that doesn't mean I'm comparing my entire self w/dog.
When I suggest killing egg has parallels w/abortion it was not an effort to reduce ppl to chickens by saying they compare in every aspect. It was to convey abortion is but 1 issue regarding care for humans as factory farm raising & eating eggs contributes daily to unhealthy diet in humans + animal abuse.
Good point but it wasn't only the death of the egg but mainly the unhealthy egg diet and abuse of the caged/over medicated chicken to obtain the manufactured eggs that I question.
So an animal deserves our compassion but a human baby does not? Whether or not I eat meat could be considered a "private matter" but you apparently have no problem discussing that.
As savethecreatures said, we should show "respect for the lives of ALL living things."
That is the motto of the vegetarian, is it not? Or is it: Show respect for the lives of all living things...except for human life.
If you're really worried about a human baby, why are u feeding him a meat diet that contributes to numerous diseases and doesn't promote life as veg and fruit?
Crisology, journeyman47 and I weren't talking about the health benefits of a Veganism. We were discussing the importance of having compassion for all living things, no matter the species.
I believe that animal rights activists and pro-lifers share a common goal and a unity of purpose. It's hypocritical to say that being cruel to an animal is wrong, but tearing a baby apart in the womb is OK.
Likewise, I'd be wrong to say that a baby is alive and should be protected but an animal is alive and shouldn't be protected.
In the end, I do value human life over animal life, which is why my personal crusade is against abortion rather than animal cruelty. Though I do have great compassion for the suffering of these animals, I feel a greater urgency for the suffering of children and babies (born and unborn). Peace to you all, though, and may God bless your efforts.
It's not an either or. By saving animals u are saving ppl.
Bringing a child into this world without 2 responsible parents willing & able to care for the child is not my decision to make for others. Rearing animals w/my tax dollars to provide abusive, unhealthy, unsustainable diet to babies & adults does directly affect me, my environment & my offspring though.
Nonetheless I would never abort my baby as a form of birth control or eat a sentient being tortured in factories. Neither "is OK".
If you're moved by this video it's important to know how you can help not only with the food choices you make, but also with the personal care/beauty products you buy. My holistic video has a great link in it and some other eye-opening info and solutions.
the children starving in third world countries are not starving because we eat meat. they are starving because well fed 'compassionate' liberals and vegetarians will not allow us to slaughter their oppressors and feed them to the pigs.
I didn't say It the ONLY cause of starvation, its just one of the many reasons. If we didnt have so many food animals to feed grain to, we would have surplus grain to feed to the starving, or we could use the extra land to grow other crops.
I'm curious, savethecreatures. What is your stance on abortion?
I'm not looking for a fight, or anything, I'm just EXTREMELY curious how your life philosophy would apply to something like abortion.
And this question can apply to all of the vegetarians/vegans here. How do you feel about abortion? A simple "pro-abortion" or "anti-abortion" answer will suffice but an explanation is also welcome.
Fantastic answer. I don't think I need to tell you how hypocritical it would have been for you to be so passionate about animal rights and still be pro-abortion.
But I can see that your convictions are pure and true and I admire the heck out of that.
People know that animal cruelty exist but they don't have to witness it first hand so they ignore it. What you have done is brought these images to light so that people can no longer be apathetic to the suffering of these poor creatures.
(continued) Can I make a request for you to put your considerable talents towards making a pro-life video? Clearly you're a champion for these helpless animals. I'd like to challenge you to be the same for helpless unborn babies.
Recently (< 798,000 B.C.) homo sapiens devolved/evolved into 2 species that may have common lineage w/homo erectus.
Homo corpus consumere devolved to carnivorous factory diet, while homo fructus consumere are frugivorous as primates w/ alkalizing diets. H. corpus has shorter life expectancy, lower IQ, ph, sperm counts, consciencelessness or ecopsychopathologies.
Evidence of zoonosis: h. corpus hunt/consume primates & contract HIV, ebola, then transmit to h. fructus by cross breeding.
You can stop eating animals. Plain and simple. You can live & enjoy plant based products. For more information read, Dominion and the Call to Mercy, by Matthew Sculley.
I'm glad this is being brought out more and more. it needs to stop. I'm feeling better that more and more are caring now. and eatting other food that was intended for us which is plants will break these evil killers cause then they can't sell and make money so they would close it and go do something else.
there you go. I'm mainly a deer and lots of deer come up to me. I have cows and other animals living with me and I love eating greens and fruits and I haven't even caught a cold for over a year since I finally just said to grandma that even a little meat is wrong and it makes me sick anyway and that I don't aprove of eatting an animal that live. it would be no different then eatting another person cause we are just a being with same body builds as animals.
Beautiful! I have never felt better since I became a vegan one year ago...it is easy to do & I highly recommend it! I use to think that simply being an animal lover was great, but when I realized that if I was TRULY an animal lover...then I would not be eating them or wearing them.

God bless them all.
XxToKyOmEwxX 3 years ago

EVERYONE should quit eating animals, regardless of their "politics"...

i only eat chicken if its from an organic food store because the only reason iam a vegetarian is how the animals were treated before they were made into food for you to be full for an hour but then go out and eat another
and yes the stuff i use are organic aswell because they test chemicals from that product on animals for all of the retards that were to stupid to figure that out already
bitemefagbag 3 years ago
If you eat chicken, you are not a vegetarian. I don't understand how people can say that they would eat meat if the non-human animals were treated 'nicely'. Non-human animals are not objects that exist for our benefit, when it comes to a capacity for suffering, happiness, a desire to live etc., they are our equals.
" I raised animals in 4-H and hunted all my life, but always respected the life of animals and would NEVER cause suffering"
You don't hunt creatures that you respect.

If you eat chicken, you arnt a vegetarian. Simple.
Emmaaaahhh 3 years ago 2
How are you a "vegetarian" if you are eating chicken? Words have meaning. Vegetarians do not consume animal flesh - that means chicken, fish, etc. as they are all animals. There is no "kind" meat. It all comes from cruelty and killing. Go Vegan
beaelliott 3 years ago
As for abortions don't have sex, this way you won't have to decide. Imagine humans going extinct because of not enough food for all the babies. So don't have sex, except pro create and condoms are not fail safe.
captsplatter 3 years ago

We are greedy.
lilmissalice777 4 years ago
right on - if not for animals..at least care about yourself and the rot and disease YOU DON'T have to ingest.
XkobalX 4 years ago
Exactly. I get so sick of people saying this has to be done to provide food...really? People have raised their own animals and gardens and survived just fine. These slaughter houses provide lazy, wasteful people with poor dead animals to line the garbage bins in schools, hospitals and mall food courts.
raphaels4 2 years ago
Hmmmm, it makes me wonder......if the corporations evil, or is it mankinds nature to be evil. I mean we who accept that meat is being produced this way, we're just as evil as the ones that produce the meat, aren't we? I admit, I might be evil suporting this, but it's way I've chose to live, and if you anti-meat-eaters take away my right of choosing my way of life, wont that make you evil to? My point here should be that it's very hard to define who's evil.
DragonSemi 4 years ago
It's not as simple as that. First of all "anti-meat-eaters" aren't taking away any rights. In fact anti meat eaters pay taxes like everyone else. The most corrupt use of these tax dollars seems to be granted to meat and dairy industry to subsidize their diet which contributes to higher health care cost and more disease incidences with shorter life expectancy. Not only are vegetarians not taking away any of your rights, they are feeding u w/corrupt subsidies.
crisology 4 years ago

I think that fighting for the rights of all living things should include ALL living things.
slchandl 4 years ago
Fighting to save animals is fighting to save ppl since animal food contributes to disease/shorter life expectancy.
Most of the objection to eating meat revolves around the abuse of animals being retained for the unhealthy diet subsidized by the government, not the actual kill but the kill is unnecessary & requires tax $ nonetheless.
Abortion has parallels w/eating eggs. It is just 1 aberrant issue around eating animals.
crisology 4 years ago
crisology: "Abortion has parallels w/eating eggs. It is just 1 aberrant issue around eating animals."
Wow. Did you just compare eating an unfertilized chicken egg with killing a viable, healthy, unborn human baby? I don't even know what to say to that.
I respect vegetarians and animal rights activists. Hell, I even admire them. But clearly, you can't look past your veganism enough to see that the world has lots of horrible things going on in it...and animal cruelty is just ONE of them.
slchandl 4 years ago
No, relax. I said parralels, not equivelent. Read and quote correctly.
Before u "even know what to say to that." Try to read without lying.
u respect meatarians and factory farm abuse. u admire mutilation and slaughtering. But clearly you lie and can't read and over react. It's always amazing how Homo corpus consumere is so oblivious and desensitized to traumatizing flesh that is eaten and fed to baby humans, shortening their life yet they are hyperdefensive to analogy.
crisology 4 years ago
crisology: "I said parralels, not equivelent."
How did you misunderstand that?
slchandl 4 years ago
It came from your insincerity about respecting vegetarians. I just took your veg respect terms that u don't identify with & replaced them w/meatarian terms after u jumped on the tired old fallacy of bifurcation blaming animal lovers for not liking ppl as much. If eating meat were healthy u might be able to pit animal lovers against ppl, until then you're doing the opposite & if u try to pit me against loving ppl by misquoting me then you're arguing w/yourself & losing.
crisology 4 years ago
Okay, I took a couple of days to calm down. Now, I can reply. I really don't think you know me well enough to decide that I'm insincere about respecting and admiring certain groups of people.
I didn't misquote you, I used your exact words. Apparently we disagree on the definition of the word "analogy". Here's how my dictionary defines it:
1. a similarity between like features of two things, on which a comparison may be based
2. similarity or comparability
slchandl 4 years ago
(cont'd) But that's all irrelevant because, as I've maintained from the very beginning, I believe that TRUE compassion is not limited by age, race, gender, or species. It's about fighting for the rights of those that cannot fight for themselves. Defending the defenseless, protecting the weak and the innocent.
It's a noble cause, and one that I believe we share.
I'm sorry if you disagree with that, crisology, but it's my opinion and it's not going to change.
slchandl 4 years ago
I never disagreed w/compassionate and natural diet of veg and fruit for all ppl/races, species, the born and unborn. On topic- meat diets equate to increased disease and a decreased lifespan.
But by and large the majority of those affected by choices of inefficient meat diet are not only not "defenseless" or "innocent", rather most eating meat are the perpetrators in an active cycle of self defeat. Widespread problem of mothers and babies not being able to care for themselves does exist.
crisology 4 years ago
"u jumped on the tired old fallacy of bifurcation blaming animal lovers for not liking ppl as much."
I wasn't blaming anybody. I said I feel an urgency for the cause against abortion, as I'm sure you feel an urgency for your cause. I don't expect you to hate abortion as much as I do, and you can't expect me to be as passionately vegan as you are. In the end, I was only trying to find "parallels" (your favorite word) between animal rights and unborn-human rights.
slchandl 4 years ago
u took your nonquote out of context but I also find abortion repugnant. I don't expect u to be as passionate about vegan as abortion, nor do I expect u to be as passionate about red as blue since they aren't mutually exclusive, so there is no need to suggest ppl who care for animals do so at expense of ppl. In fact the opposite is true. Factory farming is exacerbated w/unsustainable population, making abortion beyond off topic unless it helps manage current corruption.
crisology 4 years ago
Analogy =/= comparison.
I'd like a word w/your 11th grade english teacher.
crisology 4 years ago
An analogy takes 1 aspect & does not suggest that the 2 issues are comparable in general. I have 2 eyes like my dog that doesn't mean I'm comparing my entire self w/dog.
When I suggest killing egg has parallels w/abortion it was not an effort to reduce ppl to chickens by saying they compare in every aspect. It was to convey abortion is but 1 issue regarding care for humans as factory farm raising & eating eggs contributes daily to unhealthy diet in humans + animal abuse.
crisology 4 years ago
the chicken eggs we eat are not fertilized. there is no life in them.
xferalisx 4 years ago
Good point but it wasn't only the death of the egg but mainly the unhealthy egg diet and abuse of the caged/over medicated chicken to obtain the manufactured eggs that I question.
crisology 4 years ago 5
i agree... need to raise my own chickens. because i love eggs, but they dont need to come from that.
xferalisx 4 years ago
Just make sure to save chickens, not buy them from the producers. otherwise you'll be paying them to kill the male ones off at birth.

Journeyman47:
So an animal deserves our compassion but a human baby does not? Whether or not I eat meat could be considered a "private matter" but you apparently have no problem discussing that.
As savethecreatures said, we should show "respect for the lives of ALL living things."
That is the motto of the vegetarian, is it not? Or is it: Show respect for the lives of all living things...except for human life.
slchandl 4 years ago
If you're really worried about a human baby, why are u feeding him a meat diet that contributes to numerous diseases and doesn't promote life as veg and fruit?
crisology 4 years ago
Crisology, journeyman47 and I weren't talking about the health benefits of a Veganism. We were discussing the importance of having compassion for all living things, no matter the species.

slchandl 4 years ago
(continued)
Likewise, I'd be wrong to say that a baby is alive and should be protected but an animal is alive and shouldn't be protected.
In the end, I do value human life over animal life, which is why my personal crusade is against abortion rather than animal cruelty. Though I do have great compassion for the suffering of these animals, I feel a greater urgency for the suffering of children and babies (born and unborn). Peace to you all, though, and may God bless your efforts.
slchandl 4 years ago
It's not an either or. By saving animals u are saving ppl.
Bringing a child into this world without 2 responsible parents willing & able to care for the child is not my decision to make for others. Rearing animals w/my tax dollars to provide abusive, unhealthy, unsustainable diet to babies & adults does directly affect me, my environment & my offspring though.
Nonetheless I would never abort my baby as a form of birth control or eat a sentient being tortured in factories. Neither "is OK".

the children starving in third world countries are not starving because we eat meat. they are starving because well fed 'compassionate' liberals and vegetarians will not allow us to slaughter their oppressors and feed them to the pigs.
afreegreek 4 years ago
I didn't say It the ONLY cause of starvation, its just one of the many reasons. If we didnt have so many food animals to feed grain to, we would have surplus grain to feed to the starving, or we could use the extra land to grow other crops.
savethecreatures 4 years ago
I'm curious, savethecreatures. What is your stance on abortion?
I'm not looking for a fight, or anything, I'm just EXTREMELY curious how your life philosophy would apply to something like abortion.
And this question can apply to all of the vegetarians/vegans here. How do you feel about abortion? A simple "pro-abortion" or "anti-abortion" answer will suffice but an explanation is also welcome.
slchandl 4 years ago
I'm against abortion. I believe that ALL sentient life forms should be loved and cherished whether it be the life of a fetus or the life of a cow.
savethecreatures 4 years ago
Fantastic answer. I don't think I need to tell you how hypocritical it would have been for you to be so passionate about animal rights and still be pro-abortion.
But I can see that your convictions are pure and true and I admire the heck out of that.
People know that animal cruelty exist but they don't have to witness it first hand so they ignore it. What you have done is brought these images to light so that people can no longer be apathetic to the suffering of these poor creatures.
slchandl 4 years ago
