It is loud but it is very fast for a turboprop. One flew threw my airspace, 22 thousand feet at 340 knots! That is pretty fast for a prop. Almost jet performance, without paying jet fuel.

The woman sitting right seat is a very accomplished pilot who is being taught how to use the new and extremely efficient Collins Pro-line21 avionics upgrade to the P-180. Just to clear things up if there was any confusion.

avanti's are beautiful planes. the cunard lifting surface is so cool. a real pilots plane if you ask me

Actually, contrary to popular belief, the P180 is not a canard in the truest sense of the word, as the foreward liftig surface on the P180 is fixed, and does not move, as opposed to a true canard, which does.

This is an awesome design, and the thought of designing the hull in such a way as to augment lift was a stroke of pure brilliance!!
