I was disappointed, cuz I was expecting another cerebral battle between L and some goons trying to take advantage of a Death Note. I knew Kira was out of the way, but still I was expecting Death Note to get involved in a different way, like the Death Note one-shot manga chapter set after the end of main story, which showed why anybody other than Light would not shake the world like he did when using a Death Note. I just liked how L spent his last days. Sudden naming of N was unexpected and dull.

Theme was some what god. But the move was a huge pile of shit. I mean its nothing compiar the other 2 death note. I bet a story like

That death god did not even kill light and that light was just prestending and he got hlp from that girl who also pretend and light is out there killing muders. and L now need to stop him again with 20 days left to do it and also every singel that saw light diead or know about him as kira is now killed by light. hows that as 3th movie instead :D

The movie wasn't supposed to be death note, it was supposed to be L's story, L dealing with loss and trying to save those kids. It wasn't supposed to be about Kira anymore, only L. And it was wonderfully done.
