why did they ban Giant Trunade? just wondering

@mrbadassmotherflower I think it's mainly because of the broken combos with 2 Call of the Haunteds in decks nowadays.  Or Safe Zone combos or Swords, etc...

But it's probably mainly the fact that it doesn't "destroy" the backrow cards so Starlight Road can't touch it.

@mrbadassmotherflower Because the only cards that can stop Trunade require to much of a cost to use unlike heavy storm not to mention they create otk situations that you can't really avoid.

Nordics aren't bad but they aren't competitive namely due to the fact that they have litterally no answer to control decks such as TG, Zombies, Hero (Super Poly), and R-Genex Locomotion. Deck non the less is fun.

@doriannordicgod  Go to the yugioh-card site and look in Events area. Then find where it says local tournament stores. Find your area and give them a call.

I have to say, it's not a bad build. But I prefer going for Odin much more than Thor. I run 3 of the black and white goat, 2 hamster, 3 Vanadis and 3 Valkyrie. Then I also run necro gardna, summoner monk, and garmr. I would run the thunder king, but I find him annoying because of the fetters XD. My main combo is letting white goat die, then save my tokens, summon out Vanadis, use vanadis to get a vanadis to grave then tune for Odin and he then has 2 Ascedant tuners in grave. Love this deck

@xtreme2k3gb6 Those were Effect Veilers. They can negate my opponent's monster effects during their Main Phase. And I can use them from my hand, so it's almost unstoppable. Amazing cards.

Was this net-decked? Because Jeff Jones posted this deck in march 2011 and the only change i saw was book of moon for royal oppression... not hating just curious :)

now with the new (stupid =P) ban list (sep.1 2011) there are many limitations to this deck you biult, (no pot of A, royal op., giant tsu. ect.)

it looked great! for the old ban list, but now the new one came, could you do another deck profile on this deck? i would love to see how you changed it!

@demonlord122 I've kinda given up on this deck for now. Plus, there are too many other great decks that I want to try right now that I will be profiling very soon. Naturias, EHeros, Fableds, Infernitys, Psychics, etc...

Wouldn't rai oh prevent u from using duality and fetter of fenir?

@anzxWEE Yes it does. But the deck has changed and doesn't run but 1 Fenrir now so I'm just not having the problems I was before.

Rai Oh only prevents you SEARCHING your deck to add cards to hand. Duality just reveals the top 3 cards so it doesn't "search", so Rai Oh doesn't touch it. So Rai Oh is still a great card for the deck.

@generalpdw Actually duality cant be used if thunder king rai-oh is face-up on the field. If "Thunder King Rai-Oh" is face-up on the field, then you cannot activate "Pot of Duality". Also, if an effect is Chained to "Pot of Duality" and Special Summons "Thunder King Rai-Oh", then when resolving "Pot of Duality" you still reveal the top three cards of your Deck. You select one card to be added to your hand and send it to the Graveyard instead, and shuffle the remaining two cards into your Deck.

Your deck profile is so cool you must win alot with it don’t you? by the way I am the underground leader & my underground member’s are duelist that aim to stop net decker’s. Net decker’s copy other people’s deck’s & call them there own but, I see your original so I am asking you, would you like to join underground?
