@mrblackrose082407 - go to your m.u.g.e.n. folder/ data/ mugen1/system

when your there, scroll down to (Character select definition)

were it says columns and rows type down the number you want, then save

after that all you have to do is go to your m.u.g.e.n. game and check out the results, =D

or just put the downloaded char and then in folder name the folder as the char is name then add it to the char folder then go to data and go to select then go to add charecters and all u do is add the name under the put your chars and there u go :)

btw you don't have to put char, stage/char/char.def whenever I put characters in I just put the name that was on their def files

nvm I got jackson working for some reason the file you have to put in chars is in another 6 files or so or at least it was for me

i see u got vista i have a problem with mines see wen i put it on my vista computer no sound works at all no sound wen u select somthing and wen u hit sombody its silent this problem is fixed in mugen 1.0 but it only allows 12 chars and there are no screenpacks 4 it yet and i kno the problem is vista cause wen i put mugen on my xp laptop it worked perfectly but it slows my computer down can u plz tell me wat u have for it to work on vista

Did you install the mugen from the more info tab or somewhere else? i use vista and it work fine maybe re-installing it may help. if nothing works pm me and ill send you a link for a new mugen.

i believe with a program called fighter factory you can make your own characters. you can also add in sounds and stuff for your characters hope that helps

First, add the character to character folder. Then go into the data folder, open select.def and scroll down till you see randomcharacter or something, and replace it with the name of the character(example. Chain Chomp is named Chomp. I remove randomcharacter with Chomp(remember, the difference between big and small letters DOES MATTER. DONT SKIP AND WRITE SMALL LETTERS IF THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BIG AND OPPOSITE!!) all i have to say. BYE :D HOPE IT HELPS!

are you sure you are putting the extracted characters folder into to the chars folder and are you typing the character info into select.def correctly double check and if that does not work try a different mugen if you want a link to another mugen plz tell me thanks

the character name is fine..yeah the message is a wee bit covering the screen, its in the upper part and everytime i move the values in it changes..its kinda annoying

well there is only couple ideas i have if your full screen try going window and i your window try going full screen or restart your computer maybe reinstalling mugen or change your screen resolution. hope it helps thanks for watching!!
