  • is it just me or something reminds me of GO GO GADGET. ^^

  • i watched this video a when i first started playing guitar. and it's safe to say that this was one if not the most helpful lesson ive ever watched. i took all these embellishments and added them to my playing and its really done some good. so beginners when you watch this, make sure to practice what this dudes showing you in the video. you will not regret it! like he said, you can apply these methods to almost any chord. with that being said thanks for the video man! and happy playing everybody!

  • Hi David...i 'm having a problem with my fingers while playing some chords..the problem is that i make some of the chords silent while playimg some others...for example i 'm playing the 4th and 5th string and make the 3rd silent...any suggestions..?

  • u got weird eyes

  • loved this video, gave me some good ideas man. hey question for you - my big G string sort of..."sputters" and seems to vibrate too much a lot of the times when I'm strumming chords. i tightened it up, strum not so hard, but it still makes it from time to time and think the problem lies in how i strum..maybe you can make a video on exactly how to strum chords with the right hand

  • I just started!

I got my guitar 3 days ago and i already understand all of the notes and basic chords. my only problem was that i had something like a buzzing sound on the power notes, but you i overcame it! :)

    btw "The Secret" WORKS 99999999999%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for everything!!!

    rock oN! \m/

  • Great Lesson , You make it sound so beautiful

II can do all that now ,

but it just sounds like some random crap noise. I give up.

  • @TheJwwinter don't give up man, you'll get there in the end and all this effort will be worth it...I'm still a beginner and I get frustrated too but I think about the end result....and you know nobody is born playing the guitar beautifully....we all gotta learn

  • 93 years old, just started but I'll kick your little asses!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Thx man

  • excellente' !!!!!great music lesson i have ever taken.

  • Hey David,

I don't know why this is, but my guitar sounds SO lame! The chords don't even come close to what they sound on your guitar. I've had it fixed and tuned, but after that it still didn't work. Could this be because I've got both nylon and steel snares? I don't know what to do about it anymore. Anyway, thanks for this video!

  • @sailxonxmusic

Hey, the top 3 strings (usually called 4th, 5th & 6th string) are always steel strings. About the sound, it's important you know how to tune your guitar. I'm sure with a bit of practice the chords will come out right :)

Keep on playing, never give up and practice hard :)

  • that's so cool thank you men it's so easy and so cool. All of your videos are awesom, ilearn so many things thanks.

  • Thank you very much for this lesson, I enjoyed it very much, now I can play much nicer :)

  • man u r the best teacher at this. no one else is that good at explaining things dont ever stop making vids.

  • Thank you for posting this material. Lost the top portion of my index finger to the first knuckle many years ago, so some of the hammers and pulls are a bit difficult, especially the d chord and some of the c chords. I have found ways to improvise some of them however. Thanks for posting this material though anyway.

  • awsome chord video.. some of the tricks i have been doing but the ones for the c maj chord i never tried...

  • can anyone tell me why everytime i try to play a chord it just sounds like im muting all the strings? its making me so fustrated

  • when i first started i went through the same thing. your are either not pressing down firm enough.. or your holding you fret hand wrong on the guitar... it took me a minute to get used to playing chords. keep practicing and youwill get it and it will feel natural as you learn

  • try arching your fingers

  • Dave -- You the man!

  • Hey David, I was wonderin why you mic'd ur guitar instead of just runnin it through the expression system. Any particular reason?

  • HI - I mic the acoustic when possible as it just lain sounds better than running through an amp. But I do also use the expression system as it sounds good too - and its so convenient

    rock on!
