smh i love tess. Liz is great too . . .but he never even gave tess a chance and thats not fair because they have more history then him and liz they were married. she was the 4th alien. I think it matters a lot, that Tess was raised by nasedo and mot by human beings like Isabel, max and Michael.I mean even Michael, who had that foster dad that was a real nightmare, turned out to be a good guy. But Tess was different.

If she'd been raised by humans like the others, she'd be a better person and she wouldn't have done, what she did in the end,she'd probably never killed alex if she had human parents(at least foster parents.)it was Nasedo who turned her life into that direction.

You guys need to understand that Tess was the ONLY one left behind when the others got out of their pods. The others were raised by humans. She wasn't. She remembers the 4 of them being in their planet and her being in love with Max. She wasn't evil. She just wanted what they USED to have :(

Max loved Tess in his other life, they were married for godsake. Liz was just an annoying distraction to what could have been amazing. Tess had a good heart deep down, and im sure if Max had gone back with her to Antar, it would've all turned out for the best, instead he stayed with crappy Liz. Tess was easily the best character in the whole show, just ahead of Michael, in my opinion.

@vaberella he knew who he loved very well he loved Liz "and he said so" over and over. Tess "said so" too (much to her dismay she saw it too) even when he died Liz was everything he could see. Max wanted to kill Tess twice (both times the baby saved her) while he saved Liz twice and he ultimately died for her. Their love brought him back. If that wasn't love how Tess could be LOL

@LadyMacbeth1000 Again, Max didn't know who he loved. When he had sex with Tess he clearly admitted he felt something for her. During S2 the man was all over the place, anyone could see that. He was jumping from one to the other. However, with Tess out of the way and the poorly written Alex situation devised---Tess became the bad guy and Liz became his "love." I say this to put the situation in context. The times he wanted to kill Tess was the end of S2 and S3. Thank fandom for crappy writing.

He slept with Tess when he was in a bad moment and Tess took advantage of it. Talk about putting things in context! LOL Funny the whole M/T thing in one episode was created by the writers only because they decided that she was Alex's killer.

The episode with FMax didn't make sense too but you Tess fans easily accept that forced storyline because you wanted her to get the boy no matter WHY and no matter if he loved another person and he was basically forced to be with Tess. Tess fans don't give a damn about Max's feelings. Their supposed "purpose" only was a pretext to get a forced pair.

Liz broke up with him at the beginning of s2 yet he kissed Tess only in the end of s2. He still loved Liz and Tess knew it. Liz didn't become Max's love she always was since he was a kid. Tess was a rebound. She was the bad guy not Max. His only fault is that he used Tess when he felt lonely. But Tess used him too.

It wasn't a kiss that got her pregnant in S2---having her needing to get back to Antar at the end of S2. So to say kissed Tess only at the end of S2 is a crock. He has more fault than using Tess---but you give him far more credit than he's due.

@vaberella (2) In the show Max said that he felt like he had lost everyone including Liz. Tess was there taking advantage of the moment and he used her to feel better. He was attracted to her and it was something "he had to find out about" (i'm using his words) He clearly said that he was in love with Liz not Tess. Again, Tess herself admitted that Max loved Liz and not her and she got flashes of her while she was with Max. She said that and we saw one of those times.

@varebella (3) Apart from them being totally forced and her being a murdering bitch, M/T suck cause they were together for a limited time just because Liz lied to him. Only when things between him and Liz were really bad he slept with Tess (and he regretted it). It's undeniable. He gave a chance to Tess only when he couldn't have Liz. Tess was rebound. She herself knew it but she didn't care because she had her plan and she wanted to deliver him to the enemy anyway.

@vaberella (4) His feelings for Tess were so weak that It's not surprising that as soon as he saw Tess' real colors & Liz finally told him the truth he stopped to care about Tess and tried to get back with Liz like he did in the S3. Even when Liz broke his heart and he was angry with her he never stopped loving and protecting her while he easily forgot about Tess right after he saw her real colors. Her betrayal freed him from his duty toward her and he cared only about his son.

Long live Max/Tess----although Max needed to grow up. It would have been cool if Max remembered and ever became the King he was meant to be.

The problem in the end for me, was the fact that the other three decided to be selfish and never went back to save their people from tyranny.

@eternaIhorizon Unlikely, since we have no proof of that. What we do know is all 4 were needed. These people even made Tess the bad guy to live like criminals. They, for me, had no sense of duty or honor. They had a mission and a calling and they dropped it for a fantasy they wanted to continue to which was shattered anyway. It made no sense to me, since S1 showed how much they waned to know who they were.

Tess was the only one who understood what duty meant and she lived by it.

@LadyMacbeth1000 Funny, she worked for the enemy until which point she helped them escape many enemies---earthbound and space bound. Further more, I wouldn't expect her to not infiltrate the enemy baracks when she's on her own on this. They needed four and she was one---with a baby. Added to that, I'm surprised your still defending them versus seeing that they are at fault. Her entire goal was never to work for the enemy, anyone can see that, and the ending says otherwise--she died for them.

@vaberella her entire goal was to get Max she didn't care about their purpose. This is a fact that was showed way before departure. The episode "the end of the world" is a clue in the other timeline she left the group only because Max rejected her. She never cared about their people on antar she only wanted Max. She didn't die for the antarian people. The endings says that Karma is a bitch because her non enemy Kivar betrayed her like she betrayed her family.

And I think an Alien/Human relationship is way more interesting and dramatic than Alien/Alien.

@EvilAlice I don't understand how you can love it. Max was spending so much time screaming in S3 how much he wanted his son. Once he got his son, and son had no powers, he dumps son in an orphanage. Liz spent more time looking at Max as a science experiment than a boyfriend.

The way Tess enter into the dark side was so strange! Suddently she became an evil girl without a cause.This change is because Max/liz Shippers hated Tess and Jason Katim saw it!I was so angry at the end of S2!
