  • lol the dude that plays rick flag in smallville was allso in Are You Afraid of the Dark?

  • Many of the characters on smallville has the initials "L L" - Lana Lang, Lex Luthor, Lionel Luthor, Lois Lane and Lucy Lane....

  • I'm really excited for Friday's Episode with Teri Hatcher, (Abandoned) as Lois's mom. The previews make me excited. Can't wait for next weeks review!

  • Quick timeline question to anyone who can answer: any idea if AMBUSH is the day after C&L's love-making in HARVEST? Is it the morning after, or maybe a few days later with uninterrupted alone time at the farm? I'm thinking it's the morning after by the playful and excited looks on C&L's faces in the kitchen opening scene. like they can't believe they finally did what they did. Anyone disagree? I'm curious.

  • @icrodriguez7 AND YOU JUST PROVED MY POINT. your comment is a mirror image of how most women review smallville.

  • @thefoilerlives LOL! Perhaps, but I was reacting to another reviewer who had made a very good point on AMBUSH. It's as simple as that.

  • i just watched another review and i think im done watching females review smallville. theres a problem when people are looking forward to watching certain episode to find out about how emotional a scene is with lois and tape of her mother. its infuriatin.

  • @thefoilerlives Now this is just insulting. Being a female does not mean that we are only looking forward to the emotional scenes in an episode. I, myself, love them for the growth and development they allow for the characters, but I also look forward to the action scenes as well. For Superman's sake, I'm just dying for the flying already! But don't diss females for appreciating both the emotional and action aspects of SV. Maybe we are more mature than the boys. Your comment has made that clear.

  • @icrodriguez7 i didnt diss woman. look how long the woman reviewers of smallville go into the details of lois and clois. then listen to the reviews of everyone else. theres a reason why people loved season 9 and its because it wasnt filled with clois.

  • @thefoilerlives And there's a reason for why people are loving this season as well. We are finally getting to witness Clark's evolution into Superman in both his "superhero" and personal life.

  • @icrodriguez7 i dont know what show your watching.

  • @thefoilerlives S.M.A.L.L.V.I.L.L.E. Sound it out, it'll help. :)

  • Still another weak episode. At least they are starting to get to the seasons storyline. Leave the love thing to the side people.

  • @CK61938 I didn't really enjoy this episode as much as all the previous ones so far.. the one thing i didn't quite get was that in season 9, when Zod gave Lois that RAO charm, Clark was pissed and said if he went near her, Zod will not only get his taint handed to him but destroy all the others too (haha classic). In this episode, Lois was seconds close to being blown to kingdom come and Clark only did as little and said 'I will foil your evil pan' :S

  • OMG the Talon... I didn't realise it blew up until you said it

  • @esfandior same here :D lol

  • I WONDER IF MARTIAN MANHUNTER WILL MAKE IT N THE FINAL SEASON

  • @CaMaya8719 I HOPE SO

  • Dude, you put the RedK ring away.

    I'm resubscribing.

(and thank you, @BizarroPat345 for getting the cool CK back)

Please understand, I didn't mind you not being a Cloiser. I just objected to you telling all Cloisers not to comment on anything because of how we felt on 1 thing.

But I am so happy to se the upbeat guy again. I shoulda known you wouldn't stay a jerk for long. It's not your nature.

    Honesty I respect.

    But mean?

That's not the shirt you wear, CK.

    Glad UR back!

  • I think he asks the General for stuff regarding Lois' mom.

  • CK61938, Clark may not have asked 'the question' outright but may have asked, 'If I one day ask Lois to marry me WILL I have your blessing.'

I don't think he meant now.

  • character is Emil LaSalle, also known as Warp, he's usually involved with the brotherhood of evil aka the society of sin

  • Anyone notice that 'Watchtowers eye logo' has the letters J L in it?

  • @DarkMeir It's in fact JLA and we first noticed them in Season 9 ;)

  • I gotta say CK i was hoping the general was gonna get possessed by darkseid. I was so mad that didn't happen

  • @ck61938 How long has Clark and Lois been together, in Smallville days? I know they were dating in Season 9 and officially a couple since 'Isis' (because he told her THE TRUTH). It looks like 'Ambush' picked up right after the end of 'Harvest'. So after 2-3 days he wants to propose??

  • @DarkMeir since they have known each other for almost 6 years and they have had amazing chemstry and to be honest he already knows they are gonna be together since his gone to the future, it kinda makes sense.

  • what about clark asking general lane the question that we dont know what it is but we can guess that it is asking lois's hand in marriage could that be the landmark.. also the telepoting guy is Emil LaSalle

  • Comment removed

  • all i can say is RIP the talon you'll be missed lol

  • @megaopjet i said the same thing lot of memories in this place

  • i feel that by the end sam lane kinda knows clarks the blur

  • its not that question cuz in homecoming they werent married- lois didnt have clarks last name!

  • Do you mean Warp?

  • The episode was ok....

  • Awesome review, i think they will get married in the finale or one before a break...it will be a big episode most likely..but do you know when allison is supposed to come back, i remember her saying something about November, but not 100% sure, cause Olliver is finally starting to get over her, and if she comes before the black canary episode its get be a train wreck to watch him, lol

  • No, I doubt it was Mikhail (or even mister) Mxyzptlk... Probably 'Warp' as a few have said.

@MrPow1983 Even if it's one actor playing two different characters, it's certainly still probable that if it's the same character and he previously 'died' - that he could be brought back to life, cloned, had a secret twin. It's scifi after all.

  • Hey Ck61938, another Great review and really enjoyed how you brought up your own opinions, especially the Likes of this episode. I agree, this was alot better episode and really didnt involve alot of fighting or effects, just plain ol good acting xd. I'm thinking the phase guy might be Mixilpidelick from season 4, knowing how he was going to get his powers back, and being a main villain from the comics. I'm excited to see Granny Goodness in the next episode.

Keep up the awesome reviews ;)

  • this episode made me laugh. the events with Clark and Sam Lane were awesome. Also towards the end it makes me wonder...Does Sam know Clark is the blur? I loved how Clark put Lois in her place and finally be a man. I would like to see him start to fly. I think its about time for him to do that.

  • i think he was the guy from static but i think the writers are hoping we want remember that he was killed. his powers are to much of the same

  • @MrPow1983 They could have said they used clark's blood to revivify him!

  • i think the character is mixilpidelick

  • @nick23905 Yea Nick, good guess. I completely forgot about Mixilpidelick but Wow, last time we saw him was in season 4, and lex was supposedly helping him get his powers back...so maybe in this season he will return, or smallville just decided not to bring him back, lol, i thought he was cool, especially being a main superman villain in the comics and cartoon.

  • As for THE question, I understand his need to ask it then since he would never know when he would see the General again. Asking the father for a future proposal was absolutely the best idea Clark could've had. It'll keep us in utter suspense now for every coming episode, won't it? GENIUS!

  • What a relief to see you excited again! I loved this episode. I enjoyed every scene. While I was furious, yet sympathetic with Lois and her need to appease her father, I was immediately relieved that she rose to the occasion and stuck by her man. But I believe the overall best parts of the episode were where Clark stood up to the General and defended his love and want of Lois, and defense of (secretly) himself as the Blur.

  • I forget a question I wanted to asked you.....Do you think The General suspects that Clark is the Blur....in their last scene together...it sure seemed like he knew.

  • Great review. I really like the episode. I have been waiting to see The General in action again and he didn't disappoint. Lois still has that little girl inside wanting her Father's approval....but I knew she would not leave Clark and would tell her father. Really liking the Suicide Squat. You go Clark.....you are truly manning up Dude. LOL R.I.P. Talon.

  • I loved the bit where they ran Flag's truck off the road. Clark and Oliver both in their gear, standing over Flag was awesome.

    Good review.

  • Emil LaSalle he is a teen titans villain named warp

  • @jazziegryl Too apears in the animated series

  • Emil LaSalle

  • I do have to agree though that a Clois engagement is much too soon. I'd rather not see it at all so we can just assume that in the future, it'll happen. If anything, save for the end of the season.

I really loved this episode, the Vigilante Registration Act arc is shaping up nicely and I love how it ties into Darkseid's overall plans.

    Loving S10!

    Great review!

  • Clark grew some massive balls in this episode! The issues of Lois' family in their relationship were handled so well. THIS is why I love the direction Clois is taking and why it's such a great part of the series. It's being handled in a mature and honest way, instead of just whinning and angst about secrets and lies (*coughClanacough*). The scenes between Clark and The General were so great! Welling and Ironside knocked it out of the park!

  • Great review.

  • Dig the review man... I have to say, Michael Ironside was pretty damn good in this episode. There was a lot of pathos when he and Clark had their second barn talk. And the intensity of the first one was gripping. Clark's standing up for himself - it's about time. And I really hope the question was: What would you say if the man Lois loved was the Blur? (He seemed confident enough. Dunno.) Ugh, just not the engagement, not yet.

  • Clark's character is just fantastic this year. He's nothing like he used to be in S1-7 when he did wtv people told him to do, and was afraid to speak his mind. I think that's why red k eps were so special back then - cuz he finally let go of all that crap, stood up for himself and didn't let anybody step on him or his beliefs. After watching Ambush, now I really understand why red k didn't affect him the same way in S9. He is just too awesome now. So assertive, so great. Go Clark!

  • I watched Ambush today, but I've had a rough day with myself so I couldn't focus on it 100 percent. But from what I saw it was pretty good. My favorite part was seeing Michael Ironside's name in the opening credits xD (not the song)...Even though I knew he was Lois' father I thought somehow the Darkseid syndrome would enter his body and we'd have Ironside doing the voice...I know that sounds dumb but yeah....I give this episode about a 7 out of 10...also,it was cool to see clark in the new suit.

  • That guy that who teleported himself was Warp. Just checked him out, haven't heard of him before, seems ok. Loved the ep and the only thing that didn't appeal to me was how Lucy was tricked by Ric Flag. Come on, she's the daughter of a general, how can she be played like that? But anyways, she's hot as hell. Damn, Peyton List is gorgeous. Clark was awesome here - the way he stood up to Lois for what he believes in unlike before with Lana when he always listened to her like a puppy dog. Great ep.

  • @KalvinEllis sorry, you must see a different series. Lois is the one who denounce Clark infront of his Mom and Perry White and telling him, he stands in her way, and for that Clark ran after her like a stupid little dog....

  • @MissLanaLang And he did this exactly once. While for 7 seasons he treated Lana like an idealistic dream girl, to who he was too afraid to speak his mind about something that was bugging him i their relationship, fearing he might hurt her feelings. One of the few times he had the balls to say to her what he wanted to say was when he confronted her about Bizarro. Now he is obviously different and is not afraid to speak his mind when he needs to.

  • @KalvinEllis This is the difference between being a boy and being a man. Same goes for Lois. She, along with Clark, is evolving into the Lois and Clark we saw and drooled over in HOMECOMING. It's an evolutionary process. It's called life. :)

  • Maybe Clark asked the General if Lois could move in with him. lol Hopefully they're not getting married yet.

  • Hahaha your response to the 'question' was exactly the same as mine "no no no no no!!, please don't ask THAT question" :D

  • Lois didn't do everything her dad said, because we know she was VERY rebellious. This was the first real interaction she had with her dad on the show. He was on it before and she's followed orders through the phone, but this was different. I think Clark puts Lois in her place. They always used to bicker and he was very snarky. When they first kissed, they did it because he grabbed her and planted one on her. It was very manly. I think they're stronger together. He was Lana's puppy.

  • Clark put that bitch in her place!

  • Hehe good to see you smiling this week :) I have watched most of Ambush but I live in England too and I didn't have a computer so it took me a while to realise I could watch it on Justin.tv app haha nice review and yes it would be wayy too soon :) 3am and I am still awake just to wait for your video to process :) goodnight xx

  • i did not know

  • you dont have to get angry about it

  • haha, i was thinking the same thing when he said speaking of lois, there's something i'd like to ask you and then i was thinking oh boy, is he asking the big question this soon, i mean their married or engaged in the future but not this soon

  • They blew up The Talon!

  • R.I.P The Talon

  • i liked this episode, things are getting more and more interesting and exciting as the season goes on, i still don't trust tess 100% but as time goes on, i'm trusting her more and more and oliver seems to be getting over chloe a bit which is good, no offense to chloe, i love her but oliver's moping was getting on my nerves, i'm excited to the next episode to see what this granny goodness character is all about and what she did to tess to bring her back from the dead

  • @lovelydiva06 when you say you love chloe and then you're glad Oliver's over her which kinda means "he's no longer in love with her" it sounds like an oxymoron. No offense. I'm glad Oliver is back on his feet but I don't think he'll ever stop loving her. I don't not ship but that's just me.

  • @MrsWitwer yeah, i guess it kinda came off that way huh, i loved oliver and chloe together but honestly his depressing moping was getting on my nerves, now from he's point of view, its perfectly understandable for him to feel that way, losing the woman he loves but it just kinda annoying me, anyways, i'll just say i'm glad he's not moping anymore

  • general lane i have to ask you something about me and lois can i marry your daughter that's what he said

  • @ck61938: Very good review and show. I agree with on about the Ollie and Chloe bit, I mean he acts like she is platinum...get over it. I am finally glad that Clark got some backbone about himself and told Lois how he felt. But Lois acting like a little girl is how some women act around fathers.daddy's little girl. I was wondering the same thing-the question...but overall an interesting episode and a good review

  • The thing I love about General Lane is that there is almost no pleasing the man. Lois could say "My boyfriend's a superhero who saves people, just like you, Dad!" "They'll all turn on us, you'll see!" Lois could say "My boyfriend is an ordinary daily planet reporter, and your standard gentlemen." "When's the boy gonna grow a pair, man up?" Lois Lane could be dating Jesus and her dad would still find something to complain about him, lol.

  • I think we all have that fear and I'm a Clois shipper lol. Hopefully he ask her towards the end.

    Love the review.

  • I enjoyed the episode. Really liking the Anti-Vigilante plotline. It's just what we need to get the public down on heroes for Superman to rise and prove them all wrong.

  • @youngkiller1988 SERIOUSLY!!! STOP WITH THE "FIRST" SHIT!! I HATE IT!! DON'T DO IT AGAIN!!!

  • i also loved the episode
