  • This video totally scared me, I watched it like 3 days before my tummy tuck. Hope your feeling better!

  • hang in there, I know it will be better.

  • Hang in there! I have to tell you.. this is the first of your videos I have watched, and I can't believe your profile. You can't be 30! You look like a teenager in this video! You look wonderful! Grats on your success!

  • Wow...I had already decided that I didn't want to have plastic surgery no matter what I looked like after...and watching you just reinforces it for me. I am glad you are doing what is best for you even though you are having to go thru the really sucky part right now (pain) but the great thing about life that this too shall pass and you will be living the life you want! Best wishes to you and your new hubby!

  • Hope u get the drain out soon so u can start to heal and feel better! U and ur hubby are so cute together: ) hugggs mary and love ur vids: )

  • keep your chin up, you're the leader of the pack and an inspiration to soooo many people! i watch your videos a lot, they help with the hard times. my surgery is on monday and i'm really excited, thanks to the help and support of other's videos...like yours!!

  • hang in there girl.. As you know in time it gets better. soon the drain will be out and you'll be better

  • JP drains suck. I had 2 for my bypass but I only had them for 2 days and they were removed before I came home, thank God. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. You've gone through so much already, it will all be over soon!!!

  • Hey, I believe what you're going through is similar to the pains of childbirth. I'd love to have recorded all of my girlfriends and family that have made that statement - "I'm never, ever doing this again" only to have it repeated for a 2nd or 3rd time!! Hang in there.

  • aww april dawn feel better!!

  • hey there April, i know you are in pain at the moment, and just wanted to let you know that i am thinking and praying for you that the pain will go quickly and that you will heal up super quick..

    Cheers Lin

  • You're going through so many drastic (albeit wonderful) changes, April - and that's enough to overwhelm even the strongest soul. Marrying, moving, your surgery - geez, woman, you are AMAZING and truly inspirational. Stay strong and focussed and remember the things that motivated you to get your surgery. Know that It won't be long before you see that rainbow after your storm, and don't hesitate to lean on your wonderful hubby for support :)

  • I have been seriously debating a tummy tuck or the entire body lift. The breast lift and implants were bad enough. I will wait a few weeks and see if you think it is worth the pain. Good luck and can't wait to see the results after the swelling goes down.

  • stay strong! you have already come a long way! think of this just the last process to "cocooning" then you will Be Free like a butterfly....

even tho you dont see it right now... you are lookin very very pretty........

  • Wow it sounds painful. I hope you are feeling okay today. Keep us updated. Before you know it time will pass and you will be happy that you did the surgery :)

  • This too shall pass! I'm sorry you're having a hard time, but before you know it you'll be better & happy once again. Just hang in there & concentrate on all the good things to come... :)Fab

  • Hope you're feeling a tiny bit better everyday....and than one day..... You be running around again and loving your new tummy, same as you did with your old one ;-)

  • things will get better, that kind of surgery takes time, in a couple of wks you will be much happier you will see, take care and feel better

  • I had the same thoughts when I had my GB surgery...I really hope you're feeling better soon...not being able to get comfortable is very tough. I will pray for you April...

  • Well congrats you are looking better this time even if you don't feel so great. I know it is hard to wait for the healing it seems to take forever. You had your arms done? They are my least fav part with my tummy in second. Try to remember when you had them done or even the bypass and how long it seemed to take and how worth it that was. You are going to get there and have been strong for so long. But all your dreams are coming true and you've worked hard congrats again.

    Sending prayers!

  • You have gone through so much in the last few years and you will get through this as well. As in the past with the other surgeries, take it one day at a time and before you know it, the pain will be but a memory. You are in my prayers for a speedy recovering. Thank you for sharing.

  • Ouch! You look great...hang in there.

    Donna

  • Thank you!

  • You might not feel it but you look better than your last vid. It will get better. Gotta give yourself time to heal. You will smile at the end!

  • Thank you for saying that .. I feel like garbage all the time right now.. but I know everyday I am that much closer. thanks for the comments.. all of these make me feel better :)

  • you are my hero. hang in there! Jinx

  • Thank you!

  • Wow. 100? You will be so happy later, I am sure. I dont want my flabby stomach after I lose my weight. I am sure you wil look great!!!

  • I know I dont want it back.. but its how I feel right now if I could take it back and give up this pain! But I am sure in a month or two I wont take the offer :P

  • I know that you know this already, but the swelling WILL go away ... it will last a while, but it will happen. And one day you will be so happy that you had this done!

    Dena

  • Yeah I know but the days seem to drag by at the moment... blah. soon I know! Thanks for watching :)

  • OMG...100 staples?! I really feel for you! Couldn`t they give you some kind of anaesthesia? I had some stitches removed once and thought that that was bad enough! I have thought about it before when watching your videos, but never said it, but you are so so brave you know, really! I hope that you forget all about the pain and struggle once you have healed up! You so deserve it!

"I can play around with it" *sweet* :)

  • well it wasnt 100.. but felt like it. It was more close to 55 or 60 id say. But yes.. PAINFUL! I took a pain pill just before but I dont want to ever do that again! :P

  • Thank you for sharing this part of your journey Dawn, it is just as important as the weight loss as alot of us are going to have to look at surgery after wards and you are helping to show what we should expect. I hope you feel better soon. xxx

  • Youre welcome.. I want people to see everything. Having almost 200 lbs gone is just a bit of what you go through.. its just such an ordeal isnt it. But I know in the end I will be happy. Thanks for the well wishes

  • Oh hun...sorry that your feeling down at this time...But you'll heal quickly god willing:)I will say a little prayer for ya! Try and keep your chin up...Youv;e been through so much already.Best wishes!!Congrads on the new house!

  • Thank you .. I need all the prayers I can get! This surgery stuff is no fun :(

  • Feel better soon!!

Before you know it the day will come when you forget to be carefull...and realize it did not hurt anymore. PROMISE!

  • Thank you and I know it will be over soon.. I just want the soon to come faster!

  • Oh sweetheart. I really do hope that you are over your pain quickly, and soon! I know that you'd love to go off on that honeymoon, and really start to enjoy your marriage, not to mention just enjoy sitting down again. Take care, and best of luck!

  • Thank you.. I hope the pain is over soon too!! I do wish I could have done this at a better time.. but it didnt work out that way.. poor hubby huh .. :P

  • I'm sending a big hug your way, but doing so gently. I hope you can get your drains out soon and feel more like yourself. It was nice seeing your hubby walk up behind you. I'm glad you two are finally together...do you have two computers set up yet? I think my marriage would be in danger if we had to share one computer. But having two also means we can game online together. Which I think has made our marriage stronger.

I hope you feel better soon.

    Stasi

  • Thank you.. it always cheers me up to see such wonderful replys and people wishing me well. Yes we have two computers but his is not hooked up yet :P but soon! :)
