That is not a jelly fish. That is a Portuguese warrior something... something. It is the closest thing related to a jelly fish. And it is not a jelly fish, because if stays on top of the water because of its big "balloon" on top of them that is filled with carbon dioxide. Also it does not move it self, it goes with the water. The best thing to do when you get stuck by those is pi on the place. Your pi acid will help the sting until further medical attention.

Actually, there are lots of deadly jellyfish down to a few inches in size, that can more or less kill you if you come in contact (although most people survive) ..

I doubt you'd wanna step on them, in fact they are something that are taken VERY seriously in Australia for example.

Irukandji (correct spelling) is a species of box jelly fish. Stunningly awful pain but not as deadly as Chironex Fleckeri which is the larger Australian box jelly fish.

Chironex Fleckeri will kill you in less than 3 minutes.

Irukandji may kill you after many hours or days or weeks of excruciating unrelenting torturous agony.
