  • thumbs down for the music!!!

  • Great! Thanx.... And I love the music.

  • cold lap and the legs are bad your not eh welder lol but nice teck

  • @MyThunder777 As Years are running by, i ended now up at a big company producing professional powerplants up to 25 MWel. Soo i learnd now to weld!! I'll show soon some new gasifiers! Not as bulky as that one!!

  • что это такое? дайте мне ответ

  • I want to learn about your system ---NOT listen to BAD MUSIC !!!!!

  • I take 4 points off for creed.

    Sorry.

  • Who made those drawing ? You can't read them.

  • Great job sir! keepit up. I love the music! I admire the work! Can't stand the negative folks responding. I bet they never built a thing worth a darn. I have started building my own stoves and many other things. I learn loads watching others like you! Thanks for uploading and working hard!

  • your a better man than I.. i cant even build that thing

  • Dude...yer cool enuf to experiment with makin' your own gassifier and then you put Creed on here? shame on you....that's way way worse than welds that look like birdshit

  • At first I thought the plans were drawn by a kid with a new box of crayons. The details show bloody and drawings didn't have a perpindicular corner all were crooked. It all fit when I saw what they produced. Exactly what it should have a crooked tank on stands. It all makes sense now. Ha! Sorry couldn't watch the video in it's completely, my sides were starting to ache. Keep the axe to the grind stone. Fail ahead is best policy. you get credit for that.

  • song goes good with that

  • Scoobyist, this is a great video, my family is heading down the Bio-mass digester path, but after watching your 3 videos, there is no reason not to have more than one form of "Self-Energy" - and don't listen to those who have nothing good to say about your videos - they rock! More people shoud get out and "Do" and not just sit and tell others they what they "think" is wrong with someone's work or video. I hope your Gasifier lasts you for many long years. Be well.

  • Das ist gut. good job dude. Check out sodapop can solar heaters. later

  • @arnoldcustom

thihi jup i learned alot with that one!!

Now my welds are way better!! I build a new gasifier, but have to get the Video ready, before uploadin it!!

  • @Scoobyist Would you be interested at all in manufacturing one to sell me?? I could pay upfront if you would be interested. I have tried to make my own but have failed horribly lol.

  • @KesslersCross

Sorry but I would never sell something like that, its not professional enough produced, also there's proper filtering and a engine with generator missing!!

Sorry go for a GEK or some other youtubers!!

Maybe in a few years I'm able to sell completete done Boxes with everything in, would be a dream coming true for me!!

  • @Scoobyist Okay, thanks for the response. I have looked into them but...sheesh they are outragous! Thats evenually what I would like to do, build them for sale but Im really not doing so good with my first one. Thanks mate!

  • @arnoldcustom

Have you ever heard the saying "if you haven't got anything nice to say then don't say it" those of us who haven't had years of welding experience just give it a go mate!

  • @arnoldcustom Arnold “Custom” From the shadows of anonymous chat text, a sad little man whispers words of ridicule for those he feels threatened by.

Custom what? Maybe Mr. “Custom” would like to post a video showing the world that he has actually attained the status of supreme welding expert and has earned the right to offer constructive advise to others?

  • @arnoldcustom I don't understand the meaning of this insult, you got a feather in your pants and plan to tickle her into an orgasm? Would you like your bird and it's shit bad, seriously dude! At least make the insult make some damn sense.

  • @arnoldcustom Checked on you, do not see any welding there, bird shit or otherwise

  • Interesting but I stopped watching this video because of the god awfull stupid music. Have you no taste ?

  • @Clarkview We could mute the noise but I don't trust a video from anyone who likes Creed that much!

  • @Clarkview There is a [mute] button right next to the [play] button if you dont like Creed - you can even open another Tab and play "your" fav song while watching this video-I am sure that may of us have done that before. • My Pop was an 18 yr old infantryman in war2 and the badguys had copies of '35 ford trucks with Berthoud downdraft gasifiers in the bed. Slow, involved startup and messy carcinogenic cleanup and "throttle response" was a joke - but it was transpo... PS: Hitler and other elite had ammobox size charcoal gasogenes on the back bumper - cleaner, little better responce, but 75% energy loss during charcoalization. As a suggestion, one's actual local library and it's bookloan capabilities beat the Net!

  • Thanks for this help

  • Good photos but your spelling could be a little better, might make it easier to follow along if you knew the correct name of the parts!

  • @samobullo Give him a break, he's not English. You wouldn't be able to follow at all if he wrote in German.

  • @samobullo Go easy there. Not everyone has English as a first language ya know. I've in fact modified my build to reflect scoobyist' design. Excellent albeit brief video.

  • День добрый скажите какой расход топлива? и выход газа?

  • I have built 4 downdraft gassifiers of various sizes and I could barely follow your build. There is no scale to any of the pics, 10 second clips of video spliced together would show how it actually goes together and show some scale, why you did it that way, etc.

Good job building it but without decent translation, video, or explanation.... Pretty hard to follow.

  • Some welding tips;

    1) take of f those ear muffs! you need to hear the weld, It should sound like frying bacon.

    2) you are building up way to much weld bead, turn up your heat and/or slow down your wire speed. Play with it until it sounds smoothly like frying bacon.

    3) I suggest a hood glass that is dark enough that you can just barely make out things close to your weld bead. If you can see your hand and everything clearly, you may not be able to see the actual arc itself. too bright

  • Tar Free..meaning your intake valves dont get welded in place with wood tar when the engine cools? lol..Dammit.. Nice setup, I wish i could work with REAL METAL! Thanks for sharing-

  • @jsmythib

Jap :D i just got water (black) out of it until now :D:D

why can't you work with real metal ??

you need an angle grinder and a welder thats it!!

look also for the yahoo woodgas group they have lots of interesting posts there.

  • The welding looks scary

  • @ushillbillies

Its scary!! but i improved my welding quite abit :D

  • @Scoobyist Learn from others & practice..Ive been at it for over 40 years and still can pick up a trick or 2

  • Thanks for sharing your work - you have generosity that the world really needs!

  • I like the way you put this video together. Very well done! Thank you for posting. Now I begin to understand wood gasification. It's not as complicated as some would have us believe. I bought a 100# propane tank today so I can start my own gasifier project. This is my kind of entertainment. Keep up the good work. : )

  • @KellyBtech

    Nice, go for its definetly!

Not that hard as "they" always tell. The hard part is to keep it running 24/7 :D:D

    Greets

  • @KellyBtech they want us to all believe things like this are not practical to use because they want us to depend on big oil for gasoline and such....

  • Schön gemacht!

In welcher Ecke von Deutschland wohnt der Holzvergaser?
