the insight of the Australian #4 to hit the ground like that at 5:08 is very, very intelligent - allowing for a clean pop-pass to his support players.
Drop Giteau for beale? Good call mate, lol. Beale would be at the very very bottom of the pecking order in regards to ball players. Giteau, Barnes, Quade, O'Conner, even Toomua.
If your a wallabies supporter, support your fucking team! Instead of hopping on and off the criticism bandwagon. If you actually look at the tour, we have played pretty well given the youth across the park and the absence of Barnes. Giteau clearly our most talented black line player
i dont think they should drop giteau, but i definitely think hes overrated. sure hes very skillfull, but he makes a butload of mistakes and hes not a big game player. he never plays well against new zealand. hes scared.
disagree. I think Giteau plays is a very unique and dynamic player. When giteau has an off game, it is almost always the case that the wallabies are also struggling and look to him to initiate attack by himself or establish some field position. his unfairly criticised a lot. im just so glad he had a solid game against wales. cause all the haters who called for his head now realise what the wallabies are building towards and how silly it would have been to think we could afford to drop gits
he never plays good against NZ because we have been walloped by the Blacks just about every time in the Trinations. As a team unit, our second half performances against the Blacks were utterly shit. You can't blame that on one player. I doubt even Carter in a struggling wallabies side would be any different.
2008 Tri Nations Wallabies vs ABs at ANZ Stadium Giteau and Carter were both amazing and Wallabies won, those two are untouchable as 10s. He wasn't even that bad against Scotland, he just kicked poor at goal but out of hand he was very impressive. It was the team as a whole that screwed that game.
I don't think it was his decision to hit the ground, it looks like he tripped. As for dropping Mumm, our lineout was terrible in the previous tests but was rock solid for the wales test when mumm was called up.

It is the Welsh spelling of Australia... because S4C is a Welsh channel. They do that in Wales.
