@TheBarbie1969 my hand is raised!!! but it was at a bus stop...and the bag lady decided to follow me nd my bf onto the bus and talked the whole way to the movie theatre until she asked my bf if she could come into the movies with us (i.e pay for her ticket) and my bf said no...we came out 2 hours later and she was still there!!!! thankfully my aunt came to pick us up: then she asked for a ride!!!! i got my license after tht
Does anyone remember a sketch where Carol is wearing a BIG curly blonde wig and at the end of the sketch it gets yanked off her head and she has a short dark wig on under it?
Tim Conway takes a rare turn as the straight man to Carol Burnett's hilarity - for anyone familiar with the famous Tim Conway Elephant Story outtake (also in my favs) Carol's sweet revenge is included here and you can see Tim's surprise as he struggles trying not to break up! Outstanding work by Carol in a complex extended sketch!
@gladrial89 - I don't think Tim's elephant story ever aired originally in the family sketch - they just showed it on the clip shows as an outtake. My guess is they used the story again since it had never aired and this was Carol's payback to Tim .
@leftiesrox Hi, I know this is late but do you remember any details about the sketch where Tim tells the elephant story, I've been wanting to see that for SO LONG!
@ScherazadezGypsy I want to see the WHOLE sketch, not just the clip of him telling about the elephants. If the sketch is on YouTube I'd LOVE to see it!!
@ohbutyes No it's not the same show, Tim's elephant story comes from an earlier season 11 episode with Dick Van Dyke. They never show the 11th season anymore in reruns, though the 11th season WAS edited into 30 minute shows and they showed it on TBS in the 80s though most people think I dreamed it but I KNOW they did b/c I still have one I taped off from back then, There are skits that only I see to remember and I'm sure they come from this season.
@pgy002 - I wasn't intimating it was from the same episode, but that Carol was getting him back for springing it on her in an earlier family sketch - not necessarily from the same show.
nuevas sonrisas, en todo momento.

@1953jazzman The first time I saw Tim forcing himself not to laugh during sketch. He's usually really great at surprises.
