  • man, can i ask you if you had any problem with af sistem and tarmon? i want to get one .. but i read that it could be slow with the focus sistem..

  • @GodotInTown It's fast, don't worry -- but not as fast as Canon USM.

  • @DaleKamp tnx ;-)

  • You weren't worried kicking rocks down towards the camera/tripod? :D

  • @HSBurn I was, but sometimes you just have to go with it even if it means ruining your expensive investment you just purchased. :p

  • wow i like your work! good luck Dale!

  • @27inoue28 Thank you so much.

  • Very atmospheric. chose a good time to shoot. loved the moon shot

  • @nattygerman It would've looked different any other time of the year as the sun is now in a completely different spot. Thanks!

  • Lovely colour.

  • Love the silhouette. Very nice camera work. Dale Kamp, D.P. = Awesome

  • @danielbeanfilms Thanks much Daniel! Hope to work with you soon.

  • @DaleKamp That's crazy man! You're a filmmaking fiend!

  • Hey how is this lens at low light?

  • @Field305 Pretty great at f/2.8. I haven't had problems yet shooting at night in dimly lit cities as it rains.

This is the best you can get with these zoom lenses. If you need any better go with a prime.

  • Nice work.

I have and really like that lens. Do you find it is wide enough angle?

  • @lexave I admit, it wasn't wide enough on a cropped sensor when I first got it. I had gotten used to the Canon S3IS for my digital camera. After seeing the Tamron 17-50mm I actually preferred the 28-75 and was glad I purchased it. It's wide enough for most occasions. Only indoor cramped spaces will give you problems.

  • @DaleKamp There's a bit at 0:38 that looks quite dramatic, and one would think the apparent perspective would require a wide angle lens. But somehow you managed to set up the foreground and background such that it has the apparent dramatic perspective even with a moderate angle of view. Cool.

  • @lexave thanks! The wide angle lens would certainly sell how high up I really was by making the background seem even more distant, but I was satisfied. I did risk having my camera fall from the angle. I probably won't be doing that again anytime soon. :)

  • Its really nice. lovely color grading. what software did you use for the grading

  • Hi @SquareballTV. I'm glad you liked the color grading. I used the three way color corrector filter for the grading. The one that automatically comes with Final Cut Pro. I'm thinking of purchasing Magic Bullet Looks for ease though.

  • Nice movie :)

  • Thanks @triviumgbg. Glad you enjoyed. :)

  • Im waiting for my new eos550 so I can record some cool stuff to :)

  • I'm looking forward to testing out the 550D/T2i. Seems to be exactly the same as the 7D as for video quality. Times are exciting. :)

  • I love the feel of this, good job!

  • Thanks Justin!

  • awesome job man! this is pro

  • @flodask8ing21

Thanks very much, man! Glad you think so.

  • Great job here my friend. I like the changes of perspective and you captured the journey. Nice job :) I love "everyday documentaries" like that.

  • Thanks Ashley. Some people were saying it's impossible to make movies with this camera, but so many are proving them wrong. I'd like to see it on the big screen.

  • YOU CLIMBED SUNRISE CLIFFSIDE??? Your one CRAZY MOFO DALE!

I saw an airplane near your head at the ending, its so cool :)

  • Thanks yskizzle. I'm wondering why it doesn't offer 1080P HD right now though. It did yesterday.

  • Great job!

  • Thanks chimarie62!

  • Video was awesome. Music fits very well. Great job, it's hard to believe that you did this all by yourself.

  • @nick0120

    Thanks Nick.

  • @nick0120 Did you really do this alone, Dale?

  • @danielbeanfilms Hey Daniel! Yep, I was alone for this with just the camera and lens!
