@lexave I admit, it wasn't wide enough on a cropped sensor when I first got it. I had gotten used to the Canon S3IS for my digital camera. After seeing the Tamron 17-50mm I actually preferred the 28-75 and was glad I purchased it. It's wide enough for most occasions. Only indoor cramped spaces will give you problems.
@DaleKamp There's a bit at 0:38 that looks quite dramatic, and one would think the apparent perspective would require a wide angle lens. But somehow you managed to set up the foreground and background such that it has the apparent dramatic perspective even with a moderate angle of view. Cool.
@lexave thanks! The wide angle lens would certainly sell how high up I really was by making the background seem even more distant, but I was satisfied. I did risk having my camera fall from the angle. I probably won't be doing that again anytime soon. :)
Hi @SquareballTV. I'm glad you liked the color grading. I used the three way color corrector filter for the grading. The one that automatically comes with Final Cut Pro. I'm thinking of purchasing Magic Bullet Looks for ease though.
Thanks Ashley. Some people were saying it's impossible to make movies with this camera, but so many are proving them wrong. I'd like to see it on the big screen.
man, can i ask you if you had any problem with af sistem and tarmon? i want to get one .. but i read that it could be slow with the focus sistem..

@GodotInTown It's fast, don't worry -- but not as fast as Canon USM.

@DaleKamp tnx ;-)

You weren't worried kicking rocks down towards the camera/tripod? :D

@HSBurn I was, but sometimes you just have to go with it even if it means ruining your expensive investment you just purchased. :p

Hey how is this lens at low light?
Field305 1 year ago
@Field305 Pretty great at f/2.8. I haven't had problems yet shooting at night in dimly lit cities as it rains.
This is the best you can get with these zoom lenses. If you need any better go with a prime.

Nice work.
I have and really like that lens. Do you find it is wide enough angle?

I'm looking forward to testing out the 550D/T2i. Seems to be exactly the same as the 7D as for video quality. Times are exciting. :)
