if you watched this match you would know, Sachin was owning the aussies, He ran down the pitch and hit the spinners (Warne and Waugh) for boundaries all over the place, Waugh outsmarted him and threw the ball completely wide hoping for a stumping and it worked, its a cheap yet smart way but hey what do you expect from Waugh, he is that type of player. I respect Australians but i hate Waugh.
The incident happened in the India Vs Australia in 1996 World Cup Cricket....He was in top form in the tournament....Probably he scored 90 odd runs in this match....hammered McGrath in the initial overs....

legends r there to bat their way to glory - its the bowlers who keep trying to get him out .. and mark has intelligently read sachin's mind - Mark is one of the finest cricketers Australia has ever produced - I say this even though I am an Indian, love sachin, and hate aussie cricketers and their nasty ways in the game -
