  • What is a 25cent trigger job? Is that self filing it down?

  • Question??? Does a standard Glock19 9mm Mag fit in the G34???

    Thanks Jim

  • @Hausrmaddness Unfortunately no, it is too short to fit in the magwell. As for a 25 cent trigger job, it is simply polishing the moving parts of the trigger assembly for a smoother pull. There are quite a few videos on here that fully explain the process. Hope this helps!

  • Soooo sexy! I was looking at one yesterday! Love it....!

  • Can You shoot these under water? Looks so nice!

  • YouTube needed a Glock 34 Review, I intend to make one on the Gen4 model, which I just ordered, once I have about 500 rounds down range at least. Good review. I was originally just going to get a 17 Gen 4, but I was going to put a 3.5 LB connector and an extended slide stop, the 34 comes stock with it and is more accurate, so I paid the extra and got all the components out of the factory.

  • I hear Pantera in the background!!!!

  • Thanks for the post! Was looking at the 34C, My instructor deemed it as a not needed firearm, but I was still going for it for accuracy, your comments "Not to fire lead rounds" threw me for a loop! Out the window the 34C went for cheap and accurate....back to a G17 I guess :-)

  • @kelsdon01 They say not to shoot lead cast in all Glocks at least my G19manual says it. They say it voids the warranty of the bore..???Not for sure.

  • I got to say, im a big custom shop 1911 guy and I only handled a Glock 19 ONCE and was not impressed (around 4 years ago). gun was not good or bad, but IMO I dont think it deserves the hype it commands. Many other polymer guns can give it a run for its money. HOWEVER. I saw a generation 4 Glock 34 at the gun shop today and handled it. It was annoyingly good for its price and I now like Glock's a LITTLE more than I use to...

  • Seems like he knows more about dicks and ass than guns now...Maybe u should take the one u had in ur mouth out...

  • @mfeemster4107 Nice comeback man! Well, since I actually have a life, i think ill go live it instead of wasting it on shitheads like you. Can't believe i even wasted time typing this!

  • @chandler49

    Fuck those fagets man!

Do you think the Glock 17 and this 34 is the same in power?

I like the Glock 30. I'm looking to buy my first handgun, what do you recommend?

  • @79Testo The barrel length of the 34 will give you a slight velocity increase over the 17, but it is not a huge difference. I'm a pretty big fan of the glock 22, but at the same time I wish my first handgun could have been a 1911. Easily my favorite.

  • Maybe he should go to a class before he tries to explain what a gun is..

  • @mfeemster4107 maybe you should pull the dick out of your ass before you post comments

  • because of you i bought a34. for time shooting it i won my comp. this gun is a dream. i thank you sir you are the best. god bless you

  • @TEXASbubbaJ haha awesome buddy, and thanks!

  • Gr8 review Chandler. FYI the "tupperware" term originated with Glocks use of black tupperware boxes as their fiirst pistol case with the Gen 1 - some Gen 3 models.

  • youre awesome for putting in guns n roses for the intro

  • Do we really have to listen to heavy metal the whole time?

  • @jcbirdrunner What's wrong with heavy metal?

  • Love my 34 in IDPA and GSSA competition. Excellent video; I bought my G34 years ago, right when they came out, because I'd worked with the (no longer in production) G17L.

For the record, female, married, caucused for Obama, and dual Canadian/U.S. citizenship.

  • what do you mean by 25 cent trigger job

  • Great review but I cringed when I saw that Perfect Powder measure. Never worked for me at all. Auto Disk rules!

  • Just got my 34 and range tested it this past weekend. This gun makes it easy! Out of the box bullseyes at 15 yards. Double taps at 15 yards alternating on 3 targets like a IDPA stage - 100% hits w/fast target acquisition. The rear sight could have a little wider sight window but that can be fixed. Very impressed for the price and out of the box performance. If this gun was worked over w/trigger mods, sights, barrel- it would be unstoppable in the IDPA stage- HMMMMMMMMM

  • @hobbyist1 nice, I'm glad you like it. and best of luck to you in IDPA

  • can you get that gun in a 10rd cause in mass untill you are 21 you cannot have more then 10 rounds im 18 and getting my first gun soon when i get my lisc back

  • @jgomes1992 I don't think MA allows you to have more than 10 rounds regardless of what age you are (thanks mitt romney)

  • @jgomes1992 Yes they do have mags out there that will hold only 10. You will have better luck searching for glock 17 mags though.

  • Just bought one of these tonight. Can't wait to pick it up and head to the range.

  • @twylo sweet, I hope you enjoy it

  • I see a lot of them at our local gun shows here in Oregon so check them out

  • dude, this was a great review! I enjoyed your honesty and your truthfull no-bull attitude. You seem like a great guy and you don't pretend to be something your not; like that jackball that you referred to. Your down home be your self reveiw was much appreciated by me. thanks alot. keep up the shooting and good luck. do not stop! Nut-in-Fancy is nut-in. You are SOMETHIN-FANCY!

  • @THE1212HURRICANE thanks man, it really means a lot!

  • @THE1212HURRICANE you guys sound like you should get a room. Romance is in the air!!!!

  • I picked up a Glock 23 last week from a local gun store, and I was browsing yesterday and there was a guy who was there asking about his gun. Me being me I walked up and asked him what was wrong, and he said he shot about 3 rounds and it jammed and exploded in his face. I simply asked him, "did you oil it before shooting it?" The dumb ass did not.

  • Thats a 1 nice gun man love that open slide

  • Pantera ROCKS !

  • Is there any difference between the model 34 and the 17L?

  • @shiv317 Size.....Slide and barrel are a bit longer (6"). The G17L model is illegal for IPSC competition because the barrel length is 3/4" too long. From what I hear, Its a tack driver and wickedly accurate. I think they look ugly as hell, but that has nothing to do with functionality and is only a preference issue. If all you do is group holes on paper...then you might look into the 17L. If you want a multipurpose all around great handgun, the G34 is it.

  • got one on the way... good review.

  • Thanks for the info!

  • What is a 25 cent trigger job? And how do u do it?

  • @islandsoljahz it is a process of polishing small internal parts to allow for a smoother trigger pull. I think gwargwar1981 just posted a video on this topic

  • This is a tough gun to get your hands on!

  • So how have you found the pistol? i got mine a few months ago and a few people at the range say its not the best choice cause its hard to shoot. Like to get your sights back to the target after each shot. How do you find it?

Have you done any modifications that you recomend?

  • @ChristianMetal4Life I have added a stainless guide rod and that helps level the muzzle flip. xs big dot sights are great for rapid fire and I find them adequate at precision shots as well. The only other thing you can do is practice! Every time I get a chance to shoot the g34 at 100 yards I do.

  • It's not tactical; practical. It's for Competition and Concelement(misspelled sorry).

Plus the Glock me and my dad got was at the gun show and it came with 30 round clip! Not 33 round its 30....I think might be mistaken.

  • @chris96kalonji the reason I said tactical/ practical was because that is the slogan glock uses to advertise the g34 and g35. I'm with you on competition, but concealment? Show me how your dad cc's his 34 and I'll show you how I cc my chainsaw lol.

  • @chandler49 LOL... I'm picking the 34 up for my tactical combat gun. Just ordered my SWR Trident 9 for it. Sweet review. Keep up the good videos.

  • Awesome review! Subbed!

  • @MegaGewehr thanks dude, you and gwargwar are my two favorite youtubers no joke

  • Polygonal rifling.

  • so agree with 1:33 lol

  • @TajRasak lol thanks

  • Would it be beneficial to put a ported barrel in there?

  • @kevo1264 In theory yes, but it depends on your application. For home defense it would not be ideal because the muzzle flash would ruin any chance of an accurate follow up shot. If you plan on using it as a race gun, you would probably be better off sending it to a gunsmith and having them attach a milled compensator to the slide. With a compensator, you also receive the added benefit of extra weight at the muzzle which reduces muzzle flip even further. Hope this helps.

  • @chandler49

    Great advice, thanks man.

  • nice gun

  • Listen carefully in background around 6:45. you can hear pantera in the back ground pantera-walk

  • so this is the competition model, what does that mean compared to the standard glock 17?

  • @Dmajorproductions longer slide, cutout in slide, extended mag release, extended slide release

  • what the 40 cal version of this gun? the G35?

  • @bosco3gdi3 lol yea

  • I like how you have Walk by Pantera playing in the background. Good review though, dried fired/handled this gun today at my local dealer- seems to be a good gun. I'm not looking for self defense, just target shooting/glock matches.

  • nice review

  • @MorfeuV no not yet, read the comment above you

  • Does the glock 34 comes with a 45 Acp one????I love the glock 34 but i hate 9x19mm ammunition so i wish they can use 45 acp rounds.

  • unfortunately no, but there is the 35 that is chambered in .40 S&W

  • I know It's a stupid question but I have to ask because I have a girly hand. is glock 34 comes in 4th generation?

  • not yet but the 17 does. I would expect to see a 34 rtf by july, just because the 34 and 17 are backwards compatible.

  • Do you think that I can run Wolf through it without any issues? Is it just as reliable as the other 9mm by Glock?

  • yea you can run just about anything through it. I would say it is probably more reliable than the 17 because there is more mass pushing the slide forward, thus giving you a more aggressive lock up. Personally, I would just stick with non-steel cased stuff though. It's not good for any chamber to run steel cased. Just clean it every once in a while.

  • Do the extended mag and slide release come stock? I'm thinking of getting this instead of spending more money and modding a 17.

  • yes they both come standard, along with a 3.5 lb disconnect. This is one of the main reasons I chose a 34 instead of a 17... along with the longer sight picture

  • @keneyed209 Yes... they should fit 100%

  • Wow. This guy is a tool.

  • Also, see that hole in the backstrap? Thats for a lanyard.

yea I know i said that lol

  • pantera :)

  • my fav glock, i carry the .40 when i go hunting

  • As far as new sights for competition, do yourself a favor and get an adjustable rear and a fiber optic front from Dawson Precision. You'll be glad you did.

  • do you know of any significant differences between the 34 and 17L or basically the same gun? you mentioned the cut-out in the slide but i think ive seen a video of a 17L where it had the same cut-out....im thinking there many by differences in the available calibers but i havent looked at the glock list recently.

  • They don't produce the 17L anymore. The 34 replaced it. There both 9mm caliber. No significant difference just aesthetic.

  • oh rearry??? arright then....

  • My Dealer said the 17L is still available and produced, even they removed it from the Glock Website.

  • yea the only difference is the cutout in the slide which the 17L does not have

  • The 17L is slightly longer as well

  • The 17L DOES have a cutout in the slide. I own one. ;)

  • They don't make the 17L anymore.

  • so ive heard. thanks.

  • The Glock 17L and Glock 24 (9mm and .40 cal, respectively) are the "long slide" versions of the 17 and 22. The only major difference between them and the 34/35 is barrel length. The Glock 34/35 have 5.33" barrels, while the 17L and 24 have 6.03" barrels. The controls are the same.

When the IPSC changed introduced their newest "box rule", the 17L and 24 were too long to fit. The 34/35 are slightly shorter, and will fit in the box - thus they are eligible for IPSC competitions.

  • 34 has the slide cutout and also has the 3.5 lb trigger vs 5.5lb on 17

  • oh cool thats WHAT I SAID IN THE VIDEO

  • why are you having a 'tude with me man, I was just answering the guys question.....

  • sorry man just all these guys stating what I said in the vid gets pretty annoying

  • I just bought a G34, GREAT Handgun ! Still Virgin in the box. Check out TALON Grips pretty cool and Cheap ! Sights I got Tru Glo/Tridium. You got the best of both worlds, Fiber optic for daylight competition and Tridium for self defense in the dark. I got them on my G19. Like you said no one has a close up Review of the G 34. All people show is shooting the gun, You can not appreciate the beauty and simplicity by just showing how the gun blows rounds You did a good job !
