  • Also im worndering if you have any problems with bearing breaking off from you diff? because since i put the MM on the truck the bearings started bearking and sending thr little ball to the diffs gear so they also beaking? and im tired of that and want to buy some steel bearing and do you think the torque is beaking them. off or the rpm?

  • @MrOswaldo15

Your mamba monster/2200kv is already brushless. If you are breaking things in the diff, there is already too much torque. You could get a lower kv motor if you want more torque. Just use the mamba monster ESC on a lower kv motor. Don't waste your money buying an Ezrun. Plastidip (youtube it) your mamba monster ESC and make it waterproof. The motors are waterproof already. They can run happily underwater without problems. Keep the bearings clean and oiled.

  • I already have the mamba monster v3 1/8 2200kv combo and im loving it but i want something that is brushless its waterproof cheap and good torque for the e maxx?

  • do you think this combo will work if i put the esc in a waterproof case and trying it in the water or mud? because im looking for something that has a lot of torque and that is fast in the mud or water?plx help

  • @MrOswaldo15 There's no reason why it shouldn't work. Just leave airflow around it. The fan needs to move air so it doesn't overheat. I don't have this ESC now, it died. Get a Mamba Monster ESC, it's way better, and they are are waterproofed all the time and they keep working.

  • no bashing at all :(

  • E-maxx rips!

  • Cool vid. I've used the 80A combo for occasional club racing my 1/8th truggy, but run 12 Nimh cells. I don't keep the fan or heatsink on the motor, and all is good for for 15 months so far. ;-)

  • Hello

Have you tried using the pinion 19 / 62?

And if so, the brushless is fine?

    Good Video.

  • @mnunezve

Yeah I tried it and it was OK. Nothing gets too hot and it was a bit faster. However, that EZrun 80A is dead now. I have since switched to a MMM using the same 2350kv motor.

  • hi could you help me out plz i have just got a emaxx 3906 the old 1, i have got a brushless sytem ezrun 80amps with a 2230kv motor combo my gearing is 70 and 18 pinion on brushed . i am wanting to put the bl sytem in this weekend . do traxxas pinion fit or not . what would be the best gearing 70spur or 66 spur i need this to last me

  • No the stock Traxxas pinions will not fit. You will need 5mm pinions (0.8 mod)

If you bought the combo new it should come with a pinion.

Go to ebay and search for "5mm pinion"

I would stick with the 70 spur if that is stock. It's plenty fast enough with stock gearing. 66 spur probably won't be any quicker on the 2230kv motor, but it will raise temps and be harder on it.

  • its november,is the the ezrun system still working?

  • No, the ESC died. I'm awaiting a MMM ESC to use on this same motor. I'll post more vids of the same motor on a different esc soon. I've gone off Hobbywing ESC's. Stick to the decent brands!!

  • @andytheandr0id are you waiting for the mamba monster 1/8 esc or the mamba monster max for 1/10 scale cars?

  • how fast do u think?

  • My other videos have a gps on the truck. Same setup and it's doing 47mph (76km/h)

  • Bloody WMG, they muted the audio track. It wasn't even theirs to begin with, I edited it so much there was very little similarity to any original work. Sorry for the muteness, the audio swap feature of youtube does absolutely nothing.

  • nice truck man! how are the GE batteries? cos they seem pretty well priced. i just got a Savage Flux, was thinking of trying these lipos on it ay. awesome music choice for the vid dude haha

  • Thanks. I'd recommend you get these GE batteries. They are great packs that I use on my Emaxx and my smaller 1/10 buggies and stadium trucks. They never get hot, or even warmer than slightly warm. Put it this way, I have 7 cell EP4600 mah nimh packs, these lipos completely annihilate those. They last a LOT longer and are way quicker (and those nimh are good cells). In this emaxx, I get about 20 minutes of runtime - not too bad for only 4000 mah.

Buy them - you won't be disappointed.

  • awesome truck mate i've got the 150a esc and the 4456sl motor just love it goin lipo soon love the vid !!

  • Thanks man!!! Yeah I really like my setup. I've since put a 62 spur in, and I think I want a 22 pinion. Mine runs even cooler on the 62 spur than it did on the 68. 19/68 is undergeard for the 2350kv motor. I had a look at your vids, it goes really well for nimh.

  • Love the e maxx. Nice video too....music...editing....good for first one. I put one together too, so I appreciate the effort. Im running a MMM2200 with NiMH (Lipos soon) on my 3905.

  • WOW that is pretty fast not bad at all how about the Temps/Gearing? I have an EZRun Combo on my 1/10 Tamiya TT01D Drifter and i am really happy with it too!nice vid!

  • Thanks. It's the first vid I've done a bit of editing on.

The ESC doesn't get warm at all. The Motor gets no hotter than about 104F (40°C).

I want to get a bigger pinion because I know this will go faster without heating anything up really.

  • Oh, and the current gearing is stock, 19t pinion, 68t spur.
