Criss' mom is religious, so I guess this is a homage to Jesus or something. In terms of the trick itself, Criss has never ever made the claim that he can do anything supernatural. So clearly this is an illusion. Whether he's walking on "invisible" steps or being held up by wires, it's still a great trick and it's an illusion, as he's always maintained. He's just very, very good at making it look real. If you figured it out, it doesn't make his demo BS. It is what it is. An illusion.
