  • Hyperbole...

  • Bogan.

  • the only people dumber than this retarded knob jockey, are the idiots who voted for her.

  • A "hyperbowl" is a tool employed by Nicola Roxon's hairdresser.

  • rudd tried to align australia closer to china and the queen said 'no, you're staying with us' (not in those exact words)

that's why this dumb broad is in charge.

She didnt get my vote; she didnt get ANY vote

  • As a Kiwi who voted 'Labour' in the previous NZ election, and who thought Helen Clark was a superb leader of my country, I have to say ... in all honesty ... that this Gillard woman is a walking disaster ... and ... by the way ... I've reached that conclusion on the basis of a million other reasons that have nothing to do with her 'hyper-bowl' gaffe either.

  • She need a phonetics script writer, not one with an education......Hyperbowl is only one of many. Apart from "negoCiate", the one that really annoys me is her saying "except" where she means "accept"

  • Ignorant woman

  • You live in a country secured by soldiers like me who lost more than their hearing as I did. I love Australia, and in the RSL we recite the OATH OF ALLEGIANCE. We are a Band Of Brothers, despite undeserving people like you. We despair that our sacrifice was in vain.

  • @acommodorehsv1 come on dickhead: hit me with another convenient half-truth. which one will you pick? volcanoes again? or will you say there has been no warming since 1998? or will you say that the ice is increasing. come on: pick your best lying argument, the only condition being that when you make that argument and I wipe the floor with your fucking lying ass with REAL SCIENCE from REAL peer reviewed journals you have to admit you're just another brainwashed fuck.

  • @AussiePolitics The "planet has been cooling since 1998" is my favourite lie. So easy to rip the shit out of and make the person saying it look like an idiot.

  • @bongo155 they're such smug stupid bastards too. they act as though because they found this bullshit on the internet they're the smartest person on the planet. I hope the dickhead does reply to me with another lie because im going to enjoy smashing the stupid fuck again. you know when I first replied to the fool I was quite polite but after being called a socialist fuck, julia lover and other stupid names I gave up on being civil with the old fool.

  • @acommodorehsv1 You know what I hate you so much? You copy everything the Republicans/Fox News/American conservatives do and bring their fucking filth and disease to this country. Think for yourself you ignorant twat. Do you want to go down the extreme partisan bullshit and name calling the USA has gone down? Obviously you do by calling everyone who disagrees with you "socialists". Look fuck off to America and stop trying to destroy this country with fox news/talk back radio talking points.

  • We celebrate their death as warriors. We lament their passing. We give them full military funerals, we cry for their loss, give the symbol of our country from off the coffin to their families, "Lets We Forget" their sacrifice. I have Viet's whose lives were destroyed in Darwin, a forgotten attack that saw more Japanese Aircraft than Pearl Harbour. So FUCK OFF and take that other Juliar loving FUCKWIT XenogeneGray with you.

  • @acommodorehsv1 you're even wrong about world war 2: the biggest bombing of darwin involved 242 japanese aircraft. Pearl harbour on the other hand saw the japanese use 414 aircraft. This is not to mention the aircraft carriers, battleships, cruise ships, destroyers and submarines the japanese had at pearl harbour as well.

By the way, in addition to being wrong you are a disgusting person who hijacks the deaths of australian soldiers for your own political views.

  • As a Vietnam Veterans Welfare Officer for Veterans affairs, I visit Viet's in hospital, their widows, and I help their families before and after their passing. We celebrate their life and their sacrifice, many joined and put up their age to defend the freedom of choice that you have today. St John Of God Hospital have new veterans from Timor, Afghanistan, Iraqi, and Somalia. Many have seen their mates die beside them, what for, you, you Fuckwit. Many wives struggle without their loved one.

  • LOL hyperbowl

  • I'm older than you, I've seen climate change and I accept it. Whatever nature does, we have no control. In my 66 years, I have seen the climate change continually, I have seen natural disaster, earthquakes, drought, bushfire, volcanic eruption, tsunamis, Cyclones & floods. Nature is not controlled by an office in Canberra. Juliar's lies will be the end of Labour, and despite your protestations, you support socialism. I am a Viet Vet, proud of my country, and I despair of pricks like you.

  • @acommodorehsv1 "I've seen climate change" fuckwit learn the difference between weather and climate then bother replying. are you really so fucking stupid that because you're an old man who has been a grunt in the army that qualifies you to comment on scientific issues? here's a hint: learn what weather is and weather events and stop confusing it with climate you dickhead. you must be getting dementia you old fool if you automatically accuse those who understand climate science of socialism.

  • The truth is Julia got the sound bite wrong. That is a consequence of the short media cycle. The sad thing is,most people didnt even see the rest of the interview. It was great work by Chris, who is a very thorough journalist and looks for primary sources, such as Kevin Rudd, when asking real questions. He showed her to be evasive and dismissive. The satisfaction in his face was well deserved. You have balls Chris!Oh..and one more thing...Can you imagine the outrage if Pauline Hanson had said HYPERBOWL!

  • Nice :-)

  • And I thought the superbowl was big........

  • See I currently am a student and i say Hyperbole as Hyperbowl aswell sometimes so i cant really say she is stupid for saying that because i am basically saying it to myself.

But if i had to chose i want Kevin Rudd > Julia Gillard.

But if were me i would want a very well educated person who is not apart of government to be prime minister for 1 term and see what will happen i honestly think at the moment the government is full of a bunch actors only reading from a script.

  • The internet is for porn and retarded cats. Not Liberal wankers trying to score points. Get rid of this,

  • hyperbole*

  • Haha I used to read it like tht -_-

  • BOWLS TO YOU!!!!!

  • what the fuck is a hyper bowel

YOU RUINED THE TEENS CHOICE AWARDS WITH AN 1 AD BREAK OF YOU TALKING

    TEEEEEEEEEEEENS DONT LIKE THAT

  • "Forward this, forward that", thats the way ger nose is growing.

  • @fatkat444 The reason it isn't fact is because it's an unproven theory with a lot of holes in it.

It's a sad thing but global warming is more about politics than actual science.

The only real fact is that the worlds climate has been fluctuating for millions of years and we should spend our time learning how to live with it instead of trying to change something that no one truly understands.

  • @DragonFlameAU To be semantic it could never really be a fact so to speak, the same way gravity is still a theory. There's no doubt the worlds climate has fluctuated over the years, but when seasoned professionals in the relevant fields come to an overwhelming majority concensus, that man made climate change is negatively impacting the earth, we have to listen to them. Unless you or I had a Phd relevant to this field, and had spent many years studying it, we have no right to disagree.

  • She is a holy deep hole!!!!!!!!!

  • i cant stand her, i wish i voted. Julia gillard is not to be trusted,

  • "building the education revolution" what a convoluted catchphrase seriously LAME PR team work... fail labor

  • The supposed 90% consensus is amongst climate change researchers, who funnily enough, receive funding the study it. Disproving climate change isn't in anybody's interest..

  • HAIL!!! Glorious communist leader, Comrade Gillard!

  • A hyperbowl is the metaphor for the media. The world of hype.

  • Comment removed

  • @AussiePolitics it's pronounced 'hyperbol-ee' not 'hyperbowl' you spastic, that's the joke.

  • @anarchostompkicka wow thats the joke? many people pronounce it numerous ways? this is as petty as when dickheads in queensland labor had a go at a mistake springborg made like this during the last election.

  • @anarchostompkicka Unlikely most bogan Lib voters knew the word existed before this.

  • Why did this get so many thumbs down, its making her loo bad, last time i checked majority of Australia is against her

  • Exactly how/why is this trending?

  • I agree that we should have legitimate scientific debate. The recent Japanese Volcanic Eruption put an equal amount of carbon into the atmosphere as the entire world 12 month production. There has been some warming, yes, less than 1 part per million of a degree. As a prospective environmental scientist, time to do more homework.

  • @acommodorehsv1 dont patronise me. if you knew a damn thing about climate science you would realise that volcanoes tend to release a lot of aerosols into the stratosphere like sulfur dioxide which reflect the sunlight and have a COOLING effect on the planet. in fact that is one of the proposed methods for combating climate change in the future. "less then one part of a degree". wrong, its closer to a degree. satellite measurements have also been able to measure the amount of heat leaving too

  • @acommodorehsv1 "julia lover" "climate religion" wow you really do live in a fantasy black and white world dont you? I told you before I have no interest in policy, and if I was a labor supporter would probably have gone nuts when someone was going on about julia being a bitch rather than just saying like i did how its stupid to view one party as being pure evil. so how about you expand your narrow mind before you try to pigeon-hole people.

  • @1010Mrcool Did you call for death to Howard for his introduction of the GST? If not, why not, as there's not much difference between a GST and a Carbon tax, except a Carbon tax has scientific reasons to exist. As someone most effected by a price on Carbon (low income, no social welfare), I still support it because it is the right thing to do. The science is settled, and I'm prepared to pay to help the planet remain habitable to humanity; don't you prefer going outside without an aircon suit?

  • Maybe Juliar The Galah has spent a little too much time sucking up the the US Congress. If the Rose Bowl is the home of NFL then maybe we should rename the ARL finals the Hyper Bowl. On Yer Juliar, you SLUG!!!!

  • I said it when it happened and I'll say it again - KRUDD is the only one who should lead this country.

  • @Wade3Brad6TV Krudd sucks

  • @evidesmc what so you'd rather this chick? Like seriously, WHAT HAS SHE DONE?

    Nothing.

  • @Wade3Brad6TV I don't want either. Krudd did too much and fucked up most the time and she does jack shit and makes us look stupid.

  • Julia Vs Abbott = Julia victory.

Turnbull Vs Julia = Turnbull victory.

Julia's not too smart, but Abbott's a much worse back-flipping lying moron, and there's no way I could vote for him. If the Libs put forward a VIABLE alternative they could win; otherwise get use to opposition.

Climate change is science FACT. Action now = less long term pain to the environment AND economy, and the development of Green jobs. Our economy MUST adapt or succumb.

  • @XenogeneGray i dont think climate change is a 'fact' but if all the poeple who think its right are right, what do you think australia will do to turn it around? 22million people out of is it 7-8billion?

  • @elbenzorockz Equivalent logic: "Individually we each only gave him a single paper cut that bled a little, therefore none of us caused him to die of blood loss". If there were less than 500 million people, all living a western lifestyle, the Earth could handle our CO2 pollution. However, it can't handle ~7 billion, of which ~1 billion or so are heavy polluters. What anyone THINKS is the fact is irrelevant, what the EVIDENCE shows is all that matters, and the evidence for AGW is overwhelming.

  • It's "Hyperbole"!!! which means, to extremely exaggerate or to 'Overstate', eg: Julia Gillard's hair is horrifyingly red orrr Julia Gillard's nose is as pointy as a razor blade.

But then again she pronounced it wrong!.. and I'm currently studying in an Australian High School which we all have to pay school fee's which are ridiculously expensive. I'm going to vote her off as soon as i turn 18. .. :)

  • I liked Kevin Rudd, he was ambitious instead of thus dumb bitch.

  • Fucking ugly bitch

  • Anyway you look at it she sux! I wish we'd have another election tomorrow!!

  • So we're giving up tax payers money for a woman who is willing to pass the carbon tax scheme, and who can't pronounce something that i learnt in year 7 English. Hope you're happy, Labor supporters. And I bet when the next election comes around, you'll still vote for her. Is this what we want?

  • @VegemiteWarrior93 If the Libs still have Abbott as leader, YES! She's clearly the lesser of two evils in that contest. Julia's a pretty mediocre PM, but if Howard didn't have Costello to keep him in line he'd have been much worse (look at his record when he was treasurer). The trouble is Labour doesn't have someone of the quality of Peter Costello, and the Libs only have Turnbull who's treated like a pariah because he's got the brains and guts to recognise the importance of dealing with AGW.

  • @XenogeneGray I wouldn't want Abbott either. But surely someone would be better than this. I wouldn't mind Turnbull becoming leader, for the simple fact of replacing Abbott. I see what you're saying about the treasury bit. Wayne Swan is an absolute goose. Although its a cliche, they need to stick to their promises. Good treasurer or not, they need to follow through on what they promised, or else by next election, labor is gone.

  • She'll use the Hyperbowl to destroy the Tallyband.

  • im not liking Australia's political side, they are planning on taxing carbon, increasing speed cameras by 1000%, trying to introduce no tolerance speeding (1km over speed limit is speeding), public government corruption, back stabbing, the list goes on for miles Australia is becoming a nanny country and the only thing going well for it are its beaches and beautiful scenery, its not worth living here its too expensive for what it is.

  • Want to hear a joke...?

    Gillard running the country, Properly...

  • @LABORISTOXIC you're abosolutely right

  • I have never ever laughed so hard..........thats what happens when you get a bogan running and trying to educate the country.

thanks sooo much for the upload!

  • barren womb that never bore life leading a barren waste of a nation.

  • Hy -per - bah - lee

  • Julia Gillard: Ah, well, Chris, I'll leave the political commentary in Hyperbow-

    Lex Luthor: WROOOOOONG!!!

  • destroyed.

  • hi - per - boh - lee

  • @2much2teach I wouldn't, I'd be crying for a competent politician

  • Well maybe Australia rly does need to fix it's education system if our prime minister cannot correctly pronounce a word! It's 'HI-PUR-BA-LEE' now 'HyperBowl' that's rediculous. I'm 16 & I have been told numerous times by my English teachers that it's pronounced 'Hyperbalee' lol.

  • explain what's a hyperbole please ?

  • @2much2teach It's an exaggeration. Like: It's so hot! It's 1000 degrees outside! However Julia cannot pronounce the word properly! It's 'Hyperbalee' not 'HyperBowl' haha.

  • i wouldn't say that i like her, but i agree with her on more things than Tony Abott, hence me voting for her. I think we should take likeing and dislikeing the person out of the equation. Do you like the Labor Policy on something or the LNP Policy. It shouldn't be "do i like Gillard or Abott"... atleast that what its supposed to be.

  • Aahhhh!!!! I've never heard another Australian talk like she does, it drives me nuts!! NUTS!!!!!!

  • @PGallagher10 Are you fucking serious?

  • @UTFRG

I'm sorry. But you're generalising about private schools now. I go to a private school. I live in the northern suburbs of melbourne, commonly referred to as Melbourne's "bronx". I can hardly pay for my education (which is only 3k a year mind you) and with the Carbon tax that is going to be imposed, I'll probably struggle a lot with school. But thank-you for showing your complete and utter ignorance.

  • @acuestix Im not generalising but are there any state schools with compulsary religious studies? the religious people get paid by the government to study their beleifs when i am an atheist but still have things worth having some time out of the school curriculum to think about things important to me during the school day and i dont get that so their beleifs are valued more than mine so im an atheist i dont have any beleifs i dont respect anything worth a measly half an hour to think about

  • @UTFRG

Hmm. I can see what you're trying to say. But the "compulsory" part confuses me a little. My school teaches Religion and Values (that'd be Islam) and well, if you don't want to do it, you don't have to. I don't know how it works at other schools. :/ Although, I do believe in God so I'm uneffected by it, but yeah. In fact, I'm in vce studying Texts and Traditions. Oh well, I'm more pissed off about the carbon tax than anything else at the moment.

  • @acuestix Yeah the carbon tax is shit i mean the governments didnt care about anything the green until they realised they could get more money... assholes and i mean everything makes co2 i mean cows in fields make a tonne of co2 from their poo i mean honestly if someone wants to save the planet just buy a tonne of land and then get some money from some eco-charity and plant as many trees as possible trees get breathe co2 and if we didnt chop down forests global warming wouldnt be a problem

  • @UTFRG

That, and compared to countries such as the US, we actually have hardly any effect on CO2 emissions.

  • @UTFRG actually I would say that the government has been ignoring this issue for song long they're only grudgingly being forced into action now. do you really think creating a new tax is motivation for this action? new taxes always mess parties up in the polls, regardless of labor or liberal. its just now they're being forced to act. people ignorant of the science behind the issue think climate change is a new thing. its not. scientists have been seriously worried about this since the 70s,

  • @AussiePolitics Well here we are again you Getup Fuckwit, still spreading your Labour Bilge. I say to you " If you don't stand for something, you fall for anything." You have, you Juliar lover. You talk of science, yet you reject it with your noble cause, ego driven, 'I want to save the planet." Everyone who disagrees with you is a climate sceptic, yes!! Science is against you. You have a rag tag bunch on your side who depend on their gov. survival by agreeing with the Government.

  • @acommodorehsv1 oh you stupid brainwashed little fuckwit. you have really tried my patience now. I utterly destroyed your pathetic lies and half truths last time we talked and all you can respond back with is stupid comments about politics and groups. fuck off you fool, you dont have to stand for anything to understand the science of an issue. you say the science is against be yet in excess of 95% of climatologists agree with me and i have destroyed every LIE you have spat out.

  • @acommodorehsv1 every single thing you have stated to me about climate change has come off the bullshit websites that make up lies and tell half-truths of scientific research. remember your comments about volcanoes and carbon emissions? HALF-TRUTH. how about you go spread your ignorance amongst other genuinely stupid people like yourself because every fucking lie you spread I will call you out on you lying fuck.

  • Politics is all about political commentary and hyperbole. The (commercial) media is all about simplistic analysis and circumventing the facts in order to present a story that will sell more of it product.

  • @NatalieTrannie Hush puppy

    (meow)

  • What has eyes like apostrophes, a mouth like a zipper, a nose like Pinocchio and recently became PM (no - not post menstrual) of the Land of the Bogans?

    No-Eye-Dear? Oh Dear ! A clue perhaps..

    [I am surrounded by geniuses]

  • @VertigaDesignMEDIA Hey atleast its better than some religious conservative.

  • the debacle inaction

  • I remember my English teacher (exchange from Canada) once said 'Hyperbole' like Julia Gillard just said it then & the whole class was like: 'Ehh.. no its 'hi-pur-ba-lee' & she just kinda stood their for a moment... those canadians.

  • the dislike bar looks like her hair

  • @NickoRules17 both red :)

  • Next time you go to an election Julia, try and get it on you're own vites rather than simple minded greens voters.

  • nnnn

  • What did I just watch?

  • My god shes ugly

  • LOL HYPER BOWL

  • would you rather john howard?

  • HYPEEEERRR BOOOOOOWWWLLL...

Sounds like some halfassed beyblades shit, really.

  • The person that posted this is a down right idiot!

  • Comment removed

  • @dogboyswithcameras ur a fag

  • PENIS

  • @B0rnToRoll

    lol

  • The US have the Superbowl and Australia has the Hyperbowl!

  • It is not a bogan word at all learn english you havn't even spelt it right -

    Hyperbole -

    hy·per·bo·le

    –noun Rhetoric .

    1. obvious and intentional exaggeration.

    2. an extravagant statement or figure of speech not intended to be taken literally, as “to wait an eternity.”

    Origin:

1520–30; < Greek hyperbolḗ excess, exaggeration, throwing beyond, equivalent to hyper- hyper- + bolḗ throw

  • Lol she fails at life

  • Please start referring to JooLiar as an it as it has no place even being referenced as a pronoun. Also everybody act cool when the Newspoll people come calling and tell them how wonderful it is or we are going to fucking end up with Krudd back on the scene.

JooLiar is awesome we love her work, got it......ssshhhhhh

  • hyperBOLL...lol

    peasant!!

  • I wonder if we will ever have a PM who is more of a bogan than Julia.

  • she talks like Kath from "Kath and Kim" lol

  • It's pronounced "Hi-per-bur-lee"

  • @hungryhippo247

    Actually no, but good effort.

  • idiots (american's) pronounce it hyperbowl

  • all hail dictator gillard!!!

  • @TheSoltrain2011 stop voting hence giving these crooke their "mandate" to do whatever the hell they want. IOf they send you a "fine" for not voting tell them they can shove it cos you won't vote for anyone that potentially does harm to the people of this country. That and none of these slimy ministers EVER keeps their word.

They can SHOVE their elections and their bloody seat in Parliament. Any one of US could do a better job than these cannon fodder losers.

  • she has nothing else to think or worry about-except this bs tax-what about human and cattle expelling carbon co2-what an moron -this was keatings/hawkes choice??-- she has lost the plot--persue this agenda-see what will happen next election--we will not have a carbon tax under my leadership.....huh

  • @RupertAndCheese no that's just another tax, no a major irreversible TAX that has nothing to do with the environment (cos polluters won't be paying for it... we will) and the cost of EVERYTHING will go up. EVERYTHING!

And exactly WHAT sustainable energy sources are you referring to that JuLIAR so elouquently is "moving toward" Hmmm? Last I heard her she said she was opening the doors for 100 new BILL GATES' to create exciting new opportunities.

Sounds more like Disneyland to me. Check ur facts

  • @venuecam How are the polluters not paying this tax? Isn't the whole point that the people who use the energy pay the tax? Although at the moment I realise you mean that prices will go up because of it..

What I meant was that the big companies having to pay a tax will encourage them to invest in sustainable energy sources, like solar power, in order to avoid the effects of the tax in the long-term.

Maybe it's a bad move, but at least they're trying to fix society, and protect the world.

  • what she needs to do is make an accurate and un-biased courtesy to us as the people to at least think about what we want other than just doing wat ever the hell you want. all it would take is some -BALLS- but you obviously dont have any so i dont think politics is the right place for you kay :/ but if you just hold a nationwide poll initiated as compulsory to everyone over the age of 18 to see what we as the people want for this nation then act upon the results we might just stand a chance.

  • You see this and you face palm.. but honestly guys, look at the alternative. I think last election was about picking the lesser of the two evils.

  • i like saying hyperbowl because it reminds me of when the americans in the deep south say superbowl.

  • With people like this leading the nation all I can say is God help us all.

Australia's first Women Prime Minister (dictator) ??, I think not. She got there by lying , back stabbing and doing deals to get were she is, we the people did not put her there.

Think of Australia as the Titanic.

We need a leader, a Leader with so f**king ball's that can do what's right and bloody well LISTEN to us for once and do it for the nation before Australia is no more.

God help this nation cause if we don't

  • How embarrassing. Polititians are usually pretty dumb though, this clip doesn't say enough about the failure that is the Labour Party.

Australia suffers when labour gets in, thanks to the inexplicable way in which they manage to have ideals, then proceed to take the course of action that will cause the exact opposite of what they intend to do. Mispronouncing a word is mostly harmless, if shameful. However, the Labour Party needs to stop fucking this country up.

    Grow a brain, voters.

  • @magucheapololkop "Grow a brain, voters"

Um, more like just grow a brain. If you vote you're responsible for whatever these schills pull under the guise of their so-called "mandate". You hear that a lot these days don't you? In a democracy your vote means SQUAT cos the MAJORITY will win and if you're the minority you LOSE. Democracy is the problem, as is immensely clear from the last election. We need a govt made up of the PEOPLE who serve their term and move on. Career politicains only DESTROY

  • @venuecam

It would be great if non-voters grew a brain too. Career polititians in general are a problem, but it wouldn't be so bad if people didn't vote the idiots among them in. Democracy is fine, but it works much better when people voting posess some kind of intelligence. What you proposed sounds like Democracy anyway, you know, I'll admit I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but I think I mostly agree.

  • @magucheapololkop sounds like democracy but sure as hell isn't. More like jury duty. Aussies would be more likely to act on the best interests of the poeple and not the corporation known as "Commonwealth of Australia" which is what current pollies all pray to daily.

And the fact that so many pollies are abusing what you call Democracy today means that Democracy is either outdated or has been bastardised, so no it's definitely note fine and needs a head check sooner rather than later.

  • It's pronounced hai-PER-boh-LEE.

That said, even I pronounce it 'hyperbowl' on the rare occasion.

  • @DJTornis Are you defending her? She was the Minister for Education and has a Law deggree. She used to teach Law FFS. Don't make excuses for this lying demonstritive sack of make-up and red hair dye.

  • @venuecam God forbid someone makes a mistake...

  • @DJTornis PRIME MINISTER and EDUCATION MINISTER and LAWYER. Mistake? Uh-uh. Royal f*** up just like her and her apologetic supporters. ALL govt are just that. A big f***ing mistake.

  • I think majority of people don't realise what's wrong here.

    She pronounced it wrong.

  • this woman annoys me -.-" fair enough tony wouldn't be any better, and neither was Kevin put she'll never be a trustworthy leader in my eyes...

  • @notatrainedninja none of them will. Governemnts only cause of existence is to be there to solidify people in a time of need. Ever wonder why there are so many wars, disasters, "crisis' " etc etc etc. It's the ONLY way govts can exist. Why would we need them if we would just all get off our lazy asses and get jobs done for ourselves?!!

They are merely ceremonial slush- eating fact cats who do the bidding of big buisness. That's it! If you disagree you better have a good reason to.

  • @venuecam How could I disagree with the truth?

  • @intellectualgladiata should be a clip on failblog

  • @patcook85 x2

  • Hyperbole is actually a journalistic term meaning to exaggerate. Think A Current Affair.

The only difference is that a lot of Australian journalists sway public opinion with it. It is clear deception and Julia Gillard is more than right in using this term in this context.

What YOU need to do is stop succumbing to these filth-bags and their deceptions. The title of this video, for example, suggests that Gillard is using slang when she clearly isn't.

    For shame, "intellecutal"gladiata...

  • @JohnothanK The former Education minister and Law teacher can't even pronounce a word she should had repeated over and over...

Stop being her personal apologist and harden the f*** up, you wimpy youtube finger-waver

  • "bole" ... bfd

  • Kevin was a great Labor party leader, probably one the best in the party. Then he had to be thrown out because our government is full of mining corporation boot lickers.

  • Comment removed

  • Ignorant spunk bubbles;

Hyperbole (pronounced /haɪˈpɜrbəliː/ hy-PUR-bə-lee[1]; from ancient Greek ὑπερβολή 'exaggeration') is the use of exaggeration as a rhetorical device or figure of speech. It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally.

  • @mattotubeo hy-per-bo-lee

    not hyperbowl

  • Comment removed

  • @mattotubeo, if you look closer at the definition you posted, the word in pronounced 'hy-pur-ba-lee', not as it looks phonically, 'hy-pur-bowl'. This, I think, is what the uploader is getting at.

  • @mattotubeo Lol nice way to own the uploader.

  • @mattotubeo Hyperbowl not Hyperbole idiot, how the hell can you go watch a hyperbole? You cant, shes talking about the big game they play in bogansville obviously. But look I can copy paste as well, you're a faggot.

  • @mattotubeo

Thanks Matt, I believe that clarification was needed.

  • @mattotubeo Hey Matt, a lot of people pronounce it with the three syllable standard, especially in Europe which is where she (and a lot of Australia) is from. But that's ok, go on quoting dictionaries in place of real experience in the world beyond your own jingoistic point of view.

  • @zembryoz Yep - backstabber Julia lived in Wales until she was 5 years old.

    Your comment is bullshit.

  • @cyanideisabitterpill "Pronunciation Homophones: hyperboles Hyphenation: hy‧per‧bole "
