I say who cares about the doom era. For me Anathema began with the Silent Enigma and even though of the "recent" albuns the one I appreciate more as a whole is AFDTE, A Natural Disaster and this one hold some of my favourite Anathema songs. This album is still growing on me, but everytime they make something new I receive it with open arms, because I know it will be somehow special, and different than the last. And if there could be a reason why I love this band, that would be it.

I miss the old anathema style. This song is as great as the demo version but the magic is not here anymore. Just nice, not beautiful.

I am tired of these neverending "looped" songs with two chords and 2-3 notes here and there. Don't get me wrong, I do like uncluttered music but here it puts me to sleep instead of enchanting me. Sad to say that :/
