  • @ truelife1021 yeah 2 thumbs up man I pee on side of toilet when I have company over don't like people hearing me pee. I pee like a horse! Lol!

  • how did the camera not blow away

  • I lived right down the street. It was a house full of illegal Mexicans I think there was about 20 that lived in the house. Unfortunately they all perished in the tornado. If you look closely you can see a few of them flying out of the house.

  • Shame shame shame!!! Ohhh the horrible shame xD I didn't make fun of the bid but it's funny as hell when people proclaim shame upon eachother hahaha :)

  • the wind blew the roof of the house

  • Where is the rest of the video? Did the camera die or?

  • was everyone living in the house OK? im a canadian so conncerned about other people when tradegy happens.

  • To anyone who thinks this video is a fake, call the Weather Channel. Or go to their website. Because this video first appeared there. I'm sure it was very, VERY real. Especially for the people who own that house (and many others in the area around Parkersburg, IA). And to those who joke about it - even if it happened three years ago - shame on you! And let's put you all on a plane for Northeastern Japan for, oh, say a year or so... Right near Fukushima...

  • I always wondered about the people who lived in that house - if they got out or were in a storm shelter or basement. I've seen this video elsewhere (along with the bank that was badly damaged where the film was shot from). The tornado was officially declared an F5...

  • @alanrdowney

There was on man in the basement of the house. He was ok.

  • "honey... I thought we lived on Gold ST... why is our house on South Colony ST?"

  • Okay so, that didnt work.... then i'll just build house of metal, lets see if that wolf will blow my house down now HA!

  • @lalasina999

Next day: "How'd my house get into a tree?"

  • Oh i was waiting for one of the little trees to fly out of the ground LOL

  • did seeing this 1,000 times over get boring, plus the divas in p-burg wanted more attention I should know I live in Allison 12 miles north.

  • Will It Blend?? That Is The Question...

  • OMG!

    DID THE HOUSE DIED?!

  • Damn...woulda liked to have seen the house after.

  • @stavropulos what house?

  • @kulto1986

Yeah, no. No one likes those faggy Fuck Norris jokes. Go suck his dick if you want but everyone else is tired of it.

  • @azurescens420 I agree! :D

  • A shame the dust was so bad it threw the camera out of focus.

  • Cool trick, i give up where did you out the house.

  • well the bank now has perfect proof that that family needs a home loan

  • frick i couldit see

  • well that sucks....

  • Look at that look at the tree, ohhh the tree

  • At least build so part of the home survives to serve as shelter or skeleton for rebuilding.

  • thats what I call a TORNADO OF SOULS!

  • Change the method of construction and the house will survive, but if you keep building weak houses, then families will lose everything. When will humans get smart? Sure it will cost more to build a strong house, but you only need to build it once. Break away from conventional construction designs and survive.

  • @borderraven

Based on the description I've read of damage to the bank from which this was shot the house probably took EF2 damage, which typically is loss of the roof .

Along other parts of the damage path of this tornado, which was rated EF5, houses built to some of the best standards of construction were swept clean off their foundations.

Even if a house isn't completely destroyed by a strong tornado (EF2 or higher) it is often rendered uninhabitable regardless of construction quality.

  • :12 the flash was the tornado hitting a power line.

  • Wow, that's really scary!!!

  • @kulto1986 Are you The Situation?. Just asking.

  • @kulto1986 stop making crappy (maybe shitty) Chuck Norris jokes. These people's lives were effected forever. And all you say is a shitty (yes now it is shitty) Chuck Norris joke. You people pitty me. Tisk Tisk

  • @tornadonoob1 if you don't understand the joke of it and all then you never will oh and I do not believe in a god they don't exist!

  • @kulto1986 no me farting after I ate some beans XD

  • @TheHadesShade

    hahahah XD !!!!!

You got some powerful beans there !!

  • @kulto1986 hell yea! XD

  • @TheHadesShade Like I told kulto, these people's lives were changed forever. And all you do is reply to a shitty Chuck Norris joke. You pitty me like all of the others. God rest your soul

  • @tornadonoob1 dude I don't know how kulto thinks about it but do think it is horrible for the people that where hurt by that tornado but it is just a comment and like we ever can do anything about it! and besides the video is was put here 2 years ago so it is old and the ppl already move on like you should and again I am sorry for them but it is not my fault!

  • @TheHadesShade I beg to differ. I live in Waterloo which was just a few miles east of there. I have friends that live there and know a lot of people that still haven't moved on from then. Of course they are rebuilding, but starting over is hard. I love Chuck Norris jokes but come on guys. Know when to draw the line.

  • @stfanboy chuck norris owned them all! btw it was one of his silent but deadly farts... literally

  • Damn! That house had great bank access!

  • it's getting dark......BOOM! the roof comes off

  • my parents try to convince me i'm safe during a tornado if i'm in the basement. i say they're wrong. when a tornado this big even goes near the house, YOU ARE FUCKED. period.

  • @kalinga01

The good news is that the chances of a tornado being this strong are about .05%.

Most likely a tornado won't even be strong enough to take the roof off.

  • THIS TAUGHT HOUSE PARTS TO FLY!!!

  • Honey, im hom...- OH AAH, SHIT!

  • poor house :(

  • Tornado was all like OMNOMNOMNOM

  • The tornado can destroy houses made out of brick but not cameras wtf?

  • Not to far from where i live

  • The power of nature

  • Tornadoes in northeast Italy are now seasonal, and are increasingly violent and destructive, even if the houses were built of brick.

  • @giorgiusgam Oh no! Do u live there urself?

  • All American houses in Tornado Alley are useally made of wood. Better use some enforced concrete next time, a solid concrete roof ankered to the walls. This building was very weak.

  • a decent british house made from bricks and solid roof tile wouldnt of suffered as much. that house was probably blown off its foundation and all the bits of wood it was made out of where blown to the other side of town leaving a rather expensive mess. then the stupid yanks rebuild them out of MDF and ply board again.

  • @balado1988

The house probably to EF2/EF3 damage as that is about what the bank across the street from it took, so it probably was left on its foundation with some collapsed walls.

Nearer the center of this tornado winds reached EF5 intensity. An EF4/ EF5 tornado will demolish a brick house just as well as any other.

  • @balado1988 They actually say a dome house(wood ) withstands hurricanes and tornadoes much better than a brick rectangle, but obviously, an underground house is best. That is what this stupid yank is building when he can afford it.

  • that was my house :( jk

  • does anyone find it suspicious that the camera is facing someones house???

  • Youtube search PARKERSBURG BANK You;ll see the inside security footage

  • Back in the late '80's, was watching WIzard of Oz out of a station in Kansas City. During black and white scene at the beginning, a tornado warning scrolled at the bottom of the screen. I was trying ot find it on You tube, but this was back in teh VCR days... would love to have that if anyone does, please post it. One of the funniest things on TV EVER!

  • wow what happened to the people of the house? were they inside? i hope not

  • To those of you calling this fake....why would you think its fake?

You should watch the videos from inside the bank too.

  • in a tornado warning right now

  • Oh my, I hope no one was in that house

  • WOW!!!!!

  • thats a bank

  • ok im just gonna say this why is your camera there

  • how the hell did u get it then smart 1

  • @cpearson96 duh! hes a security gaurd!

    jk heheh

  • this just happened to my house. i lived in millbury ohio

  • Why is there an ATM machine in the middle of no where, directly across from a house that looks like its sitting on a field in a remote area. doesnt seem to be any reason for an ATM to be in that area, theres nothing there.. and it was aimed perfectly at that house? FAKE

  • @CurrentlyZero

There was an ATM machine because of the First State Bank in Parkersburg, Iowa. This was near the edge of town. The tornado destroyed much of southern Parkersburg, killing 9.

  • your FAKE!

for some reasion this is how everyone conbats all the people who shout fake from now on so ill just go with it.

    YOUR FAKE!

  • how did u survive??!

  • @SamanthaR66

    Read the description.

  • nice job

  • I live just a couple of hours from Parkersburg.

I remember reading about it at school in the paper; it was horrible.

    Seven people died |:

A month after that, Cedar Rapids went under water >.>

  • im sorry

  • YEAH THAT WAS AWESOME

  • These docks are like 20 feet above see level. Why would they build them so high? They wouldn't. The sea level dropped. That is just more evidence that "Global Warming" isn't real

  • what do you mean have become a threat? Tornadoes and Hurricanes have always been a threat. And for everyone's information, global warming isn't real. In world war 2 everyone thought there was going to be another Ice Age. The winter we had this year in Northwest Iowa was the worst my mom has ever seen. That definetly isn't global warming. It's just a natural trend of the earths climates that is completely harmless. There are docks in Europe that were built in the sixteenth century....

  • Everyone who thinks this is fake it's not I live like a 100 miles away and this is all real

  • I live in iowa. this tornado hit a house across from a bank. look up the bank in parkersburg tornado.. it actually hits the bank too

  • why say its fake? Its not like its that amazing, this shit happens all the time. Mother nature is such a trip.

  • Holy fuck!

  • how could it destroy the house and not the cameraa

  • It's real dum asses

  • people this is real i remember the day very well

  • the ones that don't believe you don't worry about them. there's always someone who has to see it to believe it which is really stupid....some people are never convinced of anything

  • Fucking hell, this is REAL. If it was a fucking animation it would look like it was made out of clay

  • not true the camra wouldent be ont heat close

  • Was not real, the trees for a start were obviously animated!

  • Did it ever occur to you that this could be a security camera?

Security cameras do not have smooth recording, so naturally the footage shot will look fake.

  • Ummmmm y is this cam facing a hosue?!

  • That's horrible.

  • thats insane footage how ur home could be wiped out in a fingersnap!!!!!!!!!

  • make sure you nail those shingles on good so they stick to the plywood when the roof flies off

  • that house got raped!

  • why would a camera mounted to an ATM be facing someones house anyway?

  • @01bot Well! its definitely not so that if any burglars came, it couldn't catch them on camera!

  • @01bot The camera is pointed toward where a person would come up to an ATM, to capture their face.

  • @01bot

Lol a stalker put it there.

  • @01bot mabey to see if they have any money

  • @01bot Somebody is probably stalking them ;)

  • puta que pariu a coisa foi feia, so quando se ve a coisa na realidade eé que se percebe a tragedia!!

  • I love how some of these imbeciles are saying this is fake.

  • it was a nice house too...

  • ya write

  • wow so fast

  • How did the camera survive the tornado it would have been destroyed.

  • I'd expect bank security cameras to be pretty tough

  • not true........ it was in a heavy machine in the wall......... (ATM)........ a far enough distance away from the Tornado at that point to not be ripped out of the wall.............

  • @234marqus

it is in the front of a bank machine which is bolted to a cement pad(built to be difficult for a criminal to attach to a truck with chains and drag off site, since it is full of thousands of dollars of cash.)

  • @jwboll how would you know that?

  • @amyaustwick because a third of Parkersburg was wiped out by tornadoes, and that's what they do to bank machines. go try and steal one and you'll see it is bolted securely in place. And they put the little camera inside it so they can put your mug on americas dumbest criminals!

  • USA

  • Rehab loan.

  • Espero nunca passar por isso...

  • did the house died?

  • ea camêra nada né ¬¬

  • Dude my math teacher lives there he got hit but he lived.

  • Extreme weather events such as tornadoes and hurricanes in recent years have become a threat to other areas of the planet earth.

  • RECENT YEARS??? who are you Al Gore??? this has been happening forever.

  • @SecretActivator what you should've put on the end of your come back to giorgiusgam is dip shit. (this has been happening forever dip shit) get it XD

  • @SecretActivator Duh!!! ofc tornados have been happeing forever but the greater frequency its happning theses days due to freak weather(global warming, pullution) Plus with more populated areas towns cities than say 100 years ago there is more risk for us. :P

  • @SecretActivator they have random atm machines across the street from houses in kansas? ...wow, we don't even have that luxury in new york city LOL!

  • true, last year a tornado hit my country for the first time in recorded history, I was like O_O

  • what country are you from?

  • ROMANIA

  • my bad, it was 2 years ago

  • Tornado alley was never the exclusive location of tornadoes. The threat was always there, the "In recent years" implication is not only misleading, it is completely inaccurate and shows how little of the topic you actually know.

  • @giorgiusgam It's a known fact that tornadoes can happen anywhere.

  • @anonymous915 Not in Seattle. Seattle doesn't get the hot and cold air mixture.

  • @FASSY524 Google "What's That? Tornado Hits Seattle | KOMO News - Breaking News ..."

  • @anonymous915 That was really small and week. It is really rare here! Thats why I love living here! Because seattle has some of the best weather.

  • @FASSY524 I don't want to argue, really - but Washington has more tornadoes than even I thought they did - google "Washington Tornadoes 1880-2000" and more severe storms than what I thought as well: "A severe tornado strikes Vancouver, Washington, killing six and injuring more than 300, on April 5, 1972" There are also YT videos of Washington tornadoes.

  • @giorgiusgam I'm sure you mean to say because of the population and city growth.
