The problem with some of the ex-gay ministries is that they try to force people out of homosexuality when they must decide for themselves to not be gay. Living as a homosexual is a sin, as is pre-marital sex, and stealing. No one is born gay, predjudice or an alcoholic. The problem with some of the ex-gay ministries is that they try to force people out of homosexuality when they must decide for themselves to not be gay. Ex-gay ministries can help those who want to get counseling. And yes there are Christians who are gay, who lie or steal. That doesn't make it right. We all need to repent of our sins and not judge those still living in sin.

Where is there a mistranslation in scripture? 1 Corinthians 6 says it all about sexual sin in general. Almost everyone in this world has done some type of sexual sin (adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality, etc.) Call it what you want, it's sin.

I know I am a sinner who is going to be judged by a just God. This means that he will send those to hell who don't believe in him and repent of their sins. He is love, but he is just too.
Sin is what God defines it to be in the Bible. Sin is anything we do that does not glorify God. Sin is clearly explained in the Bible.
People must know that they are sinners and that God is just and will punish them unless they submit to his will.

I deserve hell, yes. But God changed my heart and I still am repenting.
You should go to God in repentance because he is leading you to. You know you are wrong, and that God is right. I think it is alright to come to God because you fear his judgement, because God tells us to fear him.
