  • More bike reviews. It's obvious that you took the time to learn about the bike by thoroughly riding it as opposed to simply quoting what other bike reviewers have stated already. Great job guys.

  • Very great bike video. You definitely should keep posting more. Thanks for that informative video.

  • very honest and straightforward. keep ek coming, on two wheels

  • BMW can do better. Definitely more bike reviews!

  • more bikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • great review, engaging host, keep the bikes coming

  • more bmw bikes!!! I love the bike reviews!

  • Me too...

  • I like the bikes

  • Keep the bikes coming!

  • Good job Matt! Considering this bike, and that area of PV is cool. More bike reviews - defiantly lol. ;-)

  • More bike reviews, PLEASE! This is probably the first professionally-done review video that highlights, without bias, both the strong and weak points of a motorcycle. I also like the fact that you evaluated on a variety of roads, not just a racetrack or a flat stretch of highway. Awesome video, really like the bike (was considering it) but your comments on highway vibration have made me wonder........

  • do more bike reviews!

  • Your review of the bike was absolutely spot-on. Vibes past 5000 rpm at high speed are annoying. However, apparently the solution is to put weighted bar ends on the handlebars. Despite being a simple solution they apparently drastically reduce the vibes allowing the rider to actually use their mirrors at highway speeds. I'm looking forward to trying this for next spring.

  • PLEASE do more bikes, this was probablly the best and most helpful bike review I've seen. Also that camera controll and shots are great.

  • more bikes baby!

  • First time I've seen a review from you guys, primarily because I'm only interested in bike reviews right now and I have to say this is one of the better bike reviews I've seen - definitely do more please :)

  • Cars carry the body, bikes move the soul! so MORE BIKES!

  • I loved this review - please do more motorcycle reviews! A honest, unbiased review with well timed humor thrown in!

    Thanks for posting!

  • Defiantly keep making bike videos.

  • Great job. I agree with many others here and would like to see more bike reviews.

  • Yeah more

    Interested on motorcycle reviews than

    On

    Car reviews!

  • Duchy monster Evo please!! Best review I've seen on a bike. MCN reviews suck!

  • more please this is easily the best bike review on youtube

  • More bikes! Very well done, I'd love to see more bike reviews. Especially since I'm in the market for one. Since I can't afford any of the cars you review (of course, that's not why I watch the show anyway), bike reviews would be cool.

  • more bike reviews!!!

  • keep doing motorcycle reviews

  • I Agree more bikes!!!! by the way, good job on the review.

  • Mora Bikes... maybe get the triumph street triple or the Ducati Monster... to do a midweight comparo... keep to good work...

  • MORE BIKES PLEASE!!!! :D

  • Bikes and Maxi Scooters ! Its the future in urban enviroment! atleast for the next 50 years.

get more bikes! like the piaggio mp3, honda sw-400. er6n kawasaki, mv augusta brutale.

  • Matt,

I've been watching your vids since garage419. We are living an era where every successful thing is cloned or replicated (top gear for instance). It is amazing to see a guy like you that forges his own way of doing things. You are honest, humble, funny. It's a pleasure to watch your reviews. Congrats. (sorry for my english. Martin from Argentina, homeland of Juan Manuel Fangio, Alejandro de Tomaso y Horacio Pagani)

  • Matt,

Can you test the Yamaha FZ8 and compare the two?

  • Yes please! More bike reviews! I love how you are so unbias towards anything on a bike. I can take your advise and know that your oppinion hasn't been compramised by anything. Keep it up guys.

  • MORE BIKES!MORE BIKES!MORE BIKES!MORE BIKES!MORE BIKES!MORE BIKES!MORE BIKES!

  • 3:03 , no hands yet still the revs are on?

  • I have it since one and half month and 3000km behind me, never recognized any

vibration or something like that. Even if I am beginner I did 190kmh and no problem,

no vibration whatsoever. And I must say I like the color more and more.

  • Good work guys, great review.

  • you should review the Triumph tiger 800 xc. i love the blike.

  • Please do continue, I'm tired of half-assed reviews of supersports. Not everybody is into crotch rockets. Bikes like the F800R, Ducati Monster/Hypermotard/Multistrada, Honda XLV700 Transalp etc. DO need good, user friendly reviews, and as we all know, you can do some of the best reviews around here, Matt.

  • Please keep the bikes reviews aswell love them, try testing next tourers if u have back problems, Ktm and Ducati Diavele i beive also will not hurt your back

  • That was a great review, one of the better ones I've seen on youtube (and I look at quite a lot) and an interesting bike to review. So please keep them coming!

  • keep the bike reviews coming! i know the views might not be as high but the viewers you are pullling in are more committed. i know a guy who watched this video and then got hooked to TST. watched 50 or so of your 88 videos

  • Palos Verdes is awesome.

  • Awesome awesome awesome!!! Best bike review I've ever seen! Plz keep'em coming!

Ps great choice with the BMW ;-)

  • and yes pls...review motorcycles+cars=sexxxxx....

  • sweet location......where you guys shoot this video???...awesome place!!

  • more bikes! If you're physically limited, just do nakeds. Ducati Monster please.

  • Excellent review, to tell you the truth I'm considering this bike. Good point on the vibration at speed. Keep up the good work Matt.

  • and also MORE bike reviews, the review was excellent!

  • my eyes does never get tired...

  • bikes!

  • Bring 'em on! You're pretty good at bike reviews, just don't forget we like car reviews best.

  • BRING ON TONS MORE BIKE REVIEWS PLEASE!

  • Matt- Id keep up the bike reviews. You've already built up a strong fan base with the automotive review videos, and I think this is your/TST's chance to grow even bigger. I enjoyed this review of the F800R, great work buddy.-Robby

  • MORE BIKE REVIEWS!!! : )

  • Another vote for continuing the motorcycle reviews. I enjoyed this and would continue to enjoy watching you ride and review many more bikes. You are great at what you do, Matt.

  • I would like to see some more motorcycle vids from you. Informative, entertainting, and at times humorous. Would have liked to have seen you carve some canyons. I think you guys will find your biker niche the more bikes you review.

  • i vote more bike reviews>>>

  • nice vid matt! i wouldnt mind seeing some more motorcylce reviews, but not more than car reviews! haha keep up the good work and hope your back is healing well!

  • Long time rider here, 1st time viewing your Motorcycle reviews and I think you did good. The only low point I could give you is that you mentioned canyons multiple times, but never saw a shot or carving them. Give some shots from a little distance.

Keep riding! I'll go check out your other reviews.

  • Ah, my old stomping grounds! That road is loads of fun for drivers, not so much for passengers. There's a sign you went by that says "bump" for what was originally a 1-foot bump, now it's a 30+ foot hill.

And since as you mention it's populated largely by rich white folks, it's generally pronounced "palace vurdees."

  • Keep up the bike reviews. Its new territory for me and I want to track a bike and have one for commuting.

  • Great review keep doing em

  • @TheSmokingTire find an original. your in Cali, theres probably a few stock 69s floating around

  • Absolutely do more bike reviews. In fact this was one of the better bike reviews I've seen in a while. Its too bad you can't ride the s1000rr. I own one and ride it everyday; its an amazing machine.

  • I like the car reviews better since I don't ride but I'd watch a bike review here and there.

  • Id say stick with car reviews for sure.

  • ha great review for the most time definitly stick to the cars.... now try the s1000rr

  • i say stick with cars but i dont mind a bike review here and there if thats what u wanna do

  • More bikes!

  • Dug the bike review. I love almost anything with a motor!

  • Matt, review a Suzuki GSX-R 600!!! I am considering getting one and want your expertise in the matter.

  • Matt, I watched The Car Show the other night and I can understand why they got rid of Salley even though I like him, but they are making a huge mistake making the show only a half hour. It is pretty good now, but you guys are way too rushed and you can tell. They need to give you more time to do your road tests and to have your dialogues.

It is a better show than TG USA by far and they need to support it and promote it properly at Speed.

  • More bikes, I'm considering getting one..so yeah..MORE!

  • Love the bike reviews. Keep em coming!

  • @The SmokingTire Sorry to hear of your surgeries .limiting your abilities to ride. I had a GS1150ES........I grew up riding the GS series. Have you ridden the Honda CB1000, circa 1995??? I think that ride would suit you just fine...it is rather big...that would perfectly suit a truly big guy...like you. I have the impression the so-called 'streetfighter' is really the results of crashing all the time...regular bikes with-out all the plastics. We have plenty of examples down here in Argentina!

  • Definately keep doing the bike reviews Matt. I don't mind that you can't ride ridiculous sportbikes.

It would actually be refreshing to see someone who just reviews the types of bikes you can ride everyday.

  • Great review! Love the f800r!

  • bike reviews please

  • YES, more bikes, they are fantastic. But you should test an S1000RR, you must be able to ride one even with back surgery! Or do a comparison between a $200,000 supercar and a $20,000 sports bike.

  • can it do a HADO KEN!!!!!!

  • the more vehicles the better and i love the beard

  • Twin Turbo Busas lol

  • great bike review, more would be better

  • Great review....keep them coming

  • yes to bike and car reviews

  • i like bike reviews but you have to do some cool shit with them. watching someone putter around for 7 minutes makes me feel old.

  • If you cant ride crotch rockets, I would say stick to car reviews. People will expect more than touring bike reviews.

  • Matt you need to pick better bikes for review. If you are getting a bmw i would have picked s1000r or a gs1200. Bring some Jap bikes, Ducati, Triumph, etc. Bmw is adds ten years to any rider.

  • @gwalia4 Everyone starts somewhere. And I'm very limited physically by the kind of bikes I can ride anyway. Not only am I rather large, I've had spinal surgery twice. So any japanese/italian crotch rockets are totally out, because I can't ride them without being in excruciating pain after 5 minutes. So any bikes we test will have to have a more or less upright riding position.

  • @TheSmokingTire I also love naked bikes for street riding. How about Aprilia tuono, speed triple, street triple r, cb1000r, z1000, fz1, ducati monster 1100s, etc. BMW is just underpowered for its price. It is a german bike with no personality. I would also love a review of suzuki Bking. I like bking because its wild and crazy.

  • @TheSmokingTire Matt, I appreciate the review. There's a lot of older would-be riders out there with back problems of one sort or another. Most reviews tend to focus on the most extreme bikes, ignoring less exciting but still solid bikes like this one.

  • That's an... interesting(!) way to say Akrapovič :D

  • I actually like the bike reviews almost as much as the car reviews, but I am a car fanatic at heart.

  • I had a back surgery just under 4 months ago. What back surgery did u have Matt.

  • @evansimon33 Microdiscectomy L4/L5 . I've had the same surgery twice.

  • @TheSmokingTire Damn, thats got to be serious. I mean, sure people will say they got worse, but in the end that is still serious.

  • cool bike, cool review. but mabe stick to the cars bro.

  • Maaaaaaate, more bikes... Definitely! Nice job!!!

  • matt lets stay with the cars ok?

  • Bikes, cars, motorized fishing poles, it doesn't matter as long as you do it. Imagine a custom Hayabusa with fat tire conversion. Cool. Pencil sharpeners and gadgets are no-nos.

  • More bike please

  • I jumped on the smoking tyre for the bikes. More please

  • More bikes

  • bike and cars we love em, espesially the crotch rockets :)

  • more bike reviews. i just bought my car, not gonna do that again for ten years. my old 883, however, is gettin lonely in the garage.

  • I'd say, why not? Most guys would be interested in motorcycles. If not, skip the video til the next car review......no biggie, right?

I would be interested in a review of dirt bikes!

Business-wise maybe you can get more sponsors. ;)

  • Fucking morons. YouTube is full of morons.

  • What kind of faggot would say "absolutely no bike reviews?" Let the man review bikes for even the smallest minority that care to watch it and the rest of you tools just don't click on the video link you dumb fucking twits. Also I noticed that all the fenders on the wrangler he passed by were identical.

    More bike reviews please.

  • This bike looks awful, sounds terrible, the engine (as reviewed by Matt) doesn't sound very good performance wise and it's a BMW so I doubt it's "reasonably priced" meaning that for the price of this thing, I'm pretty sure there's probably something out there that's at least twice as good.

My verdict, hate it. I don't like these "streetfighters." I'd either go sport bike or cruiser, I don't want some Frakenstein-ish mash up of the two.

  • @Sigrafix I like the Triumph Speed 4 and Speed Triple. Those are cool... but I think Matt did new riders a disservice when he said that anyone could handle this because the power delivery is pretty smooth (I'm paraphrasing here)... no new rider has any business on an 800.

  • @wordlyfe You know I respect all bikes but honestly I think "streetfighters" are more purist bikes. Like you really got to love riding to want one of those so you can ride it everywhere Lol. Me, I'm more of a weekender on a screaming 600 doing 140 on the freeway kinda guy. Also about new riders, I believe it depends more on the person than it does the machine. You can ride a liter bike reasonably, the problem is the temptation is always there to let it rip.

  • @wordlyfe As an example, the day after I got my bike license I went out and bought a bike, a Suzuki SV650. Everyone said it was a great beginner bike, and they were right. It had plenty of power, but it came on easy so I never felt overwhelmed. But don't let the numbers fool you, that 650 made more power than this 800 does. It was also 50 lbs lighter and felt quite a bit quicker. It also has to do with whether or not the rider fears the bike. If not, he's dead.

  • stick to cars.

  • I really don't know a thing about motorcycles, but that seems like a good beginner bike. How much does a bike like that cost?

  • @GripzNGatz

Ninja 250R, best selling most acclaimed "beginner" bike ever.. go for that, most people don't regret it, unless they wanted a 600 to begin with.

  • MORE CAR REVIEWS MORE BIKES REVIEWS MORE EVERYTHING! LOVE THE SHOW! KEEP ON THE GOOD WORK, CHEERS FROM URUGUAY!

  • Motorcycles!

  • Not sure about motorcycle reviews here (I mean this as in neutral, not negative opinion). I know it's your first bike review, but it still had everything TST is known for. I'm not really into motorcycles tbh, but I've always wanted to try it out but also kind of scared too.

  • More bikes like zx10

  • Absolute NO to motorbike reviews

  • Would love more bike videos! Good job guys

  • cars please

  • keep them rolling love the all l like the bikes because i could afford a bike but i love to dream about the cars just in-case i hit the lotto lol

  • Matt, very soon I am buying a car for "My girl". Does "She" want an A5 or a 335 2 door?

  • @ChiefSpooshme you should ask her, I'm sure she knows what she wants better than I do.

  • @ChiefSpooshme

Well I would say buy a BMW, because I am an enthusiast. Although I have heard the 335 has little problems that could cost some cash to fix, unless it is under warranty. I have not looked into the A5 because I can't stand Audis. I can tell you she will have more fun driving the 335 and you will want to drive it as well. The 335 performs better than Audi's S5 so there is no doubt it will out perform its A5. Ultimately the decision is up to her. Take her to test drive both.

  • @ChiefSpooshme Time to find a new girl... it will cost less than the car.

  • @ChiefSpooshme I'd say wait till next year when the new 3-series will be introduced and the A5 will receiving a facelift, both as 2013 models.

  • @ChiefSpooshme she wants a 335 2 door droptop in white exterior metallic with tan leather interior

  • bikes are cool as long as you do plenty of cars too.

  • What i like about the bike is that it doesn't have a typical BMW price tag. At less then 10 grand, your getting a lot of bike for the money.

  • Definitly keep on with the bike reviews, not enough american reviews on youtube.

  • nice curvature of the earth at the end! I prefer 4 wheels but that's just me.

  • Great episode! keep it up.

  • More bikes please. Thank you.

  • Bikes are good, just not ones that sound like a moped

  • Show more bikes...

  • Thats a bumpy road XD, you have to see the roads in Hungary then you now whats a bumpy road.

  • More bikes

  • PLEASE MORE BIKES~

  • More bikes please!

  • nice addition. bikes would be cool every now and again.

  • More bikes please :D

  • Keep doing them!

  • bikes, boats, trains, planes, cars, trucks, if it moves I want to know about it.

  • No more bikes! Just cars please....of any kind

  • Matt all I have to say is that parallel twin engine is not representative of the majority if parallel twin bikes as far as sound and engine characteristics are concerned, I implore you to check out well the only video I have posted to youtube: jardine rt-1. It's a jardine 2-1 system for the old kawasaki ninja 500. That bike is also a blast for beginners, please check the video out and let me know what you think about the sound.

  • @boarderboi7 I've heard several parallel twin bikes, they sound OK from a flyby at high RPM, but when riding the bike they don't sound very good at all. V Twins sound much more aggressive and make their torque lower than the parallels.

  • Matt all I have to say is that parallel twin engine is not representative of the majority if parallel twin bikes as far as sound and engine characteristics are concerned, I implore you to check out well the only video I have posted to youtube: jardine rt-1. • More bikes

  • stick to cars

  • MORE BIKES!!

  • Definitely don't make bike reviews a priority, but it would still be nice to have a bike every now and then.

  • Good review Matt. I prefer cars but it's nice to see a bike review here and there. I say keep doing them. Cheers, Danny

  • i used to love TST but matt has turned into a caddy hater so F U!!!

  • @houser4201 caddy hater? did you even watch the cts-v wagon video?

  • @thaddeusbrown i have, but that was months ago... but ever since The Car Show hes been lookn to clown/badger on any caddy that has come along... btw im sure im a bigger fan of TST than you... WHERES YOUR TST TSHIRT? mine is faded and i have even been followed/profiled by cops just for wearing it

  • @houser4201 I don't remember hating on any Cadillac in recent history? I mean the 80's through mid 2000's are total shit but the new V series is awesome.

  • @TheSmokingTire quote and link from your facebook page The guy driving this horrid Cadillac looked like the Pink Panther

  • @houser4201 did you look at the picture? That car had a fuckin Landau roof and a fake continental spare tire on the back. A Cadillac CTS is a very nice car, but that doesn't mean owners can't fuck them up.
