You can buy a full-auto as an individual in most states, but it must have been made before May 19th 1986. Those are called "transferable machine guns" and they are very expensive because there is a fixed supply (about 10x what they are really worth).

Your chances of getting a P90 in England? Virtually zero, even for a civilian model. The closest I know of that you can get to it is a Japanese air powered replica, and you need a license even for that. But assuming you don't actually need it for real PDW purposes, maybe that's enough. Depends how much you really want it and what for. I have one myself and love it, but if you want one good enough quality to be worth having as an actual replica, they aren't cheep.

Unfortunately the law still counts that anything that looks like a "realistic imitation firearm" would need a license, whether it's a well carved block of wood or a blank firing model. Really sucks for gun collectors. The idea that not many people would recognise a P90 doesn't change anything. : /

The only way round the license is to have the gun spray painted in a bright two tone colour before they ship it to you. Which kind of kills the point of having it as a replica.

Last time I checked, in BF3 you don't have to check your chamber and safety before and after you reload. In BF3, you don't have to verify target position and approximate distance before firing. In BF3, you don't have to verify effect on target after shot is taken. In BF3, you don't have to clean your weapons or unjam them from constant use. In fact, in real life, firefights are very rare in real war.
