2:51- Dude! I still remember the close-up on that smiling fish releasing the gas at this exact moment before the show fades out to commercials! I thought everyone in the room was gonna die. It's easily the scariest scene ever written for this series.
this music!? from the animated series? This music is so moving, so profound, really thought provoking, it sets the mood in so many ways, dramatix yet subtle...And this was for a cartoon? This sounded like a movie soundtrack :O WHY DONT PEOPLE TRY ANYMORE! It actually makes me sick, if you listen to recent stuff like The Batman, and well anything these days, you can really see the lack of originality, enthusiasm.
This track was actually released on a promo disc, which came out before the actual soundtrack was released. You can probably download it somewhere if you type it in to google.
This particular soundtrack translates the Joker's mind and condition pretty well!
A dramatic life, a dramatic past, a constant revolt against what he considers the fragile and hypocrit order of Gotham city...which he shows by clashing with Batman - the representation of that order - without remorse.
Would you please tell me where is the image in 1:08 from? I searched it on the web, but in vain...
Congrats on the video. The chosen Joker images are great!
Hey, thanks so much. I agree the music captures The Joker's person and what he stands for perfectly.
The image from 1:08 is from a story called "Case Study" by Paul Dini and Alex Ross. You can find it in "The Greatest Joker Stories Ever told", the most recent edition, and also in "Batman: Black and White Vol. 2".
Hey there! I love the batman animated series soundtrack and I've collected the CDs that have been released, but I've never seen this track released. Where did you get it???
The first picture is a fan made picture based off of a picture of Conrad Veidt, from a movie called "The Man Who Laughs", which is what The Joker was originally based off of. The second picture is The Joker, yes, from the graphic Noval "Joker".
Hi, thanks for watching and I'm glad you liked it. "The Laughing Fish" is an awesome episode. The images from 2:29 and 4:17 are both from a comic arc called "Justice" illustrated by Alex Ross. There are 3 Trade paper back volumes, and these images come from book 3. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
Hey I have that comic!!! (5:00)

Joker is one of the greatest characters in literature. He is going to be remembered for a long time, just like Shakespeare
plays, in other words for many many, centuries.

I agree with that all the way. Greatest villain ever, in my opinion. He's incredibly dynamic.
