I have a question.... I just bought this pedal but i dont understand the drop tune feature... My guitar is currently tuned on Drop D... but when i put on Drop Tune setting it seems like its Tuning my guitar Up rather than dropping down ? I thought it would give me Drop C if my guitar is tuned on Drop D ? Pleasee explain.. thanks!

@cabritoancestrais ....Very clean, new socks! It is not natural to want to jump on expensive equipment with a dirty pair of shoes if you do not have to. This will keep the resale value up for when you upgrade to the Whammy DT. Personally, I was more interested in what you were saying, playing and what your foot was doing. That guy that made the comments sounds like he has a fetish for feet, or maybe he was wasted, probably both.

@InspiringWear You can to an extent.

If you used the droptune function you can do drop B when the pedal is switched on.

You would have to use the octave up setting and be very precise to go from drop C to drop D. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. I would suggest you get either of the following products. The morpheus droptune or electronic capo.

Unfortunately not. It doesn't detune individual strings.

Yes, you can do that with the whammy using the droptune function.

I would also recommend as a better option the Morpheus droptune. It tracks very well, much better than the whammy.

@zeppelindan500 Yeah I did more research on the pedal after posting the comment and eventually bought it. Definitely worth the cost. Didn't know Jack White used it though but makes sense now XD Mainly thought of Tom Morrello's use of this pedal.

hmm.. if you´ve had the problem with another pedal i´m inclined to think it could be a power supply or power point issue. Be sure to test it on some different power points or different supplies first.

well bud, my suggestion would be have a look at my other vid with the 3 wah comparisons, as that has some lead work in it with the whammy. My other suggestion is either go and listen to some Pantera, Dragonforce, Marc Rizzo, Chimaira, the list goes on... They all shred with the whammy in one way or another.
