You should richen the HSN and lean the LSN, thats a great engine and i dont wanna see you damage it any time soon, so whenever you get a chance richen the high speed needle i little and lean out the low end then work on your idle but nice vid

Dude your truck is TRICKED out man. In the beginning the mixture was running wayyyy too rich..but that's standard break in settings so you don't fry the motor on a lean mixture when it's brand new. And idk it looked like it might have been a litttlee too lean in the second part of the video after the 8th tank, but don't get me wrong this new 3.3 is a mean motor, I just got mine fully broken in the other day.

why'd you leave the ingitor in when you were driving...

and i just got a 3.3 in my tmaxx but it won't pull wheelies....granted i don't have the tires glued yet...but when it idles for more that 3/4 seconds it starts to jerk. the idle is extremely low but it still jerks....alsoit has a brand new clutch..

@scbjgs your idle is to low, and U may have a pinch in your line or Extremely dirty carb, Make your Idle a bit Higher And check you Gas Line if that doesn't work then I Don't Know But It sounds almost like its not sucking gas in fast enough which is due to Low Idle Just try a higher idle

@scbjgs Lol Did You not Notice He was still breaking it in? Now yea Once Its through the Break in Then yea Its not a very good idea to leave it in there. When I Broke IN MY T-Maxx I Left My Glow Plug In there Because As soon as i Took it Out it would die But Once i left it in there for MORE than 10 Seconds I took it out it was fine. But Yea After your break in period is Over then You shouldnt even leave it in there at all.

Oh yeah btw lmao, i just got my 3.3 today,also have a TRX with futaba S3003 high torque servos, belive the s3003's... traxxas link 2.4Ghz reciever and transmitter, and a resonator traxxas pipe. Anyways,did u have fun with yours stalling a hella lot too? Mine constantly stalled and flooded BADLY. Got it good now though,was brand new never before ran,on my 1 1/2 tank now! Oh yeah nice truck dude. 5*

@ch0l0sk8r the electronic are not waterproof. as long as you take the batteries out its fine. and yes traxxas says to drive it but i break in the first tank by letting it idol.

get somthing that most hobby shops have its nitro car clean it looks like a computer cleaner air can but bigger and it has a sort of gas inside it that cleans really great just so next time you wanna clean it up

@NsRGRAW i bought this truck 3 years ago brand new as a 3.3... it has the 3.3 tranny with reverse... my old 3.3 lost compression and so i put my 2.5 in it to do until i got a new engine!!! but i only took off the clutch and the ez start!

@NsRGRAW there is way more power!! my 3.3 will wheelie at 1/4 throttle!! but no, there is nothing you have to do! you might have to change the gearing to a 70 tooth spur gear to gear it up... The clutch and header and engine mount will bolt right on! the tranny might be alittle weak, but my friend did the same thing, and its been fine!
