I like how at the wal mart here where I live my friend works there and they have way more selection in the back that what they have in the case. I told him to grab me a newer pioneer than the on in the glass cause I knew they had em and bam the newer head unit. It's a cheap one for what I usually get but fuck it. Works almost as good as my kenwood that died.

for the most part yes but this was on an amp atleast so i think but cant expect nothing putting a 10 a power supply on a demo rack expensive brand supply too but it was cooked in 2 seconds couldnt even turn it past like 3 and it was only like a 400 watt amp. i used to go around setting the subs off just to piss them off its there for a purpose and management backed me up lol

Bought both of these subs ... The pioneer lasted 2 weeks and the sony lasted about 3 hours .. I had them hooked up to a 100WATT thats right I said 100 not 1000 .... watt pioneer amp and the sony ripped at the spyder , the pioneer voicecoil locked up WALMART SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yah i have the pioneer hooked up to a 500 watt amp and its been goin strong for about 4 months the reason urs locked up is because it was son underpowered that the coil heated up from not moving and got stuck to the magnet its happened to me with a kicker cvr before they rnt shit

Those Boxes arent boxes lol, Its just one big open back (all the speakers and stuff dont have any type of enclosure) So those subs have like 8 cubic feet of air space lol, and they are only running at max 60 watts from the deck. I use to work there and hooking that stuff up was fun (even tho it only happened when we got new stuff like once a year lol)

DO NOT BUY ANY AUDIO OR ELECTRONICS FROM WAL-MART. Sony and pioneer are the shittyest brands in the world. i work at a store that sells Kenwood, Alpine, MTX and all the good brands. i have installed these woofers for people in there cars and two 12" pioneer woofers have less bass then a single 10" kenwood, im talking the high-end pioneer and kenwood, maybe i will make a video showing the difference in decibel levels with my decibel meter, its a big difference.
