Umm , I can't say every religion, how many pople have msnipulated science for war and greed and self interest, I'd say religion has had its fair share of good and bad use like science.

Any one have a good website for islam? or answer this, a Baptist "infidel" can give specific reasons why they are Baptist and most, like me, can defend it in their own words. I have talked with many muslims, and NONE of them can give me a specific reason why they are muslim, they cant defend it it their own words, ALL they can do is to repeat what other people told them. Scietists espceially geologists, people who study rocks and the universe have seen that the universe began around 14.6 billion years ago.
And if it had a beginning something must have caused it.

No heaven and hell; we're all one entity. Two boxers fighting is just the illusion that there's two opposing forces because of our human perceptions. Scientists have proven this with physics. Also, no one on our measly little planet will be able to perceive something that great; such as a god.

It depends for sure on the person, how they use, misuse knowledge. Like i said Life is a tests and knowing your roots is good, nothing wrong with wanting to pass th test and get to know your divine roots and have knowledge about and secure your (after) life because of God, Allah as i know him because he is my creator and thats why he created me to worship him. THey both have the rights and equity based on religion, the only thing women can't do that men can is have more then one spouse, go to war.
THey can vote, own property, work,etc. alot of Msulims countries don't follow true Islam because of wars and colionilism messing up alot of the knowledge and the countries status, like Native AMerican Indians have a hard time tracing there roots because of US colonialism.
