this is not the R-line, the scircco R has a a different bumper. and the golf R20 has different back bumpers, plus the interior is different

@rayaan12 The R-line and R are not the same. R-line are only cosmetic OEM mods just like a highline version. The Golf R and scirocco R have the heavier engine.

Expect to see a Golf/Scirocco/Polo/Passat 'R-line' AND as we already know a Golf/Scirocco 'R'

Until we see some specs on this 'R-line' series I could be wrong, u never know with VW.

The R-line as already stated will probably be similar to audi's S-line series that sits under the 'S' and 'RS' cars

The 'R' Golf we recently saw unleashed at the Frankfurt motor show I assume will sit above the R-line series for example the Passat R-line has been available in the uk for some time but it sits under the also available Passat R36.

I dont know much about the passat, but the golf and the scirocco in this video look nothing like the 'R' from other pictures on the internet. Why is this video promoting the R when the Golf and the scirocco in the video are clearly not of teh R range.

its most probably not a real 'R' per say. its like the R-line similar to what Audi does like 'S-Line' which is actually just a bodykit and not referring to the real 'S' cars eg S4 S5 etc
