Man, I so wish this movie was as good as this trailer. The movie was just alright. It was like a couple days in the life of people in the future. Thats it. I just saw the film for the first time last week, Mark Kermode (the film critic) was totally right when he said the film was life threateningly dull. I dont know about other people but I watched two hours of aimless flashes, bangs, & explosions & nothing much else...

Such a shame as when this trailer first appeared it got a lot of people excited, and rightly so as it really ticked all the boxes, just a shame the film was so rubbish.

But this is the film that took on the difficult task of portraying the story in a different way than the others had previously....this one is in the future, and without the cliche plot line of a terminator going back and trying to kill john connor...instead, another attempt by skynet was made but using an actual human instead.

@Armoredfury193 I see what your saying, but I still think that another Director could have made a better job of this, Alien is a good example of this…I liked the first one directed by Ridley Scott, but the sequel Aliens by James Cameron was much better in my view, & it had the difficult task of trying to come up with a film that was good but in a different way to the first one. I guess you could say I’m just not really a fan of McG’s films, as I’ve seen 3 of them now & didn't like any of them.

I would have liked to see McG's original idea for TS....John Connor has a brief cameo, and a story that focused on Marcus and Kyle Reese.

But I still found this movie every bit as enjoyable as T2.
