I don't think the film does the album any justice. It gave me a great insight into the culture and setting, but ignores the core of the album: the music. This scene in particular made me angry..I think the ending of the album is much more symbolic and powerful.

I'm just a chick from the US and I know you understood all this better than I. I wish that I was from there so it would mean more but have to say, the music is in my heart forever and I actually saw them in Cincinnati (when the bad stuff happened). Wasn't their fault at all. Blame it on the greed. Sad when I saw everything that happened when I left the colisieum but won't ever change how I feel about one of the finest bands ever. Peace to all.

I have to put in my veiw of the end. Jimmy wasn't on the bike when it goes over the cliff, so people always argue about whether or not he dies. I thinkits symbolic. He kills his life as a mod by killing the scooter...

I remember my teenage years in South Africa when we had a Mod revival.I loved the movie, and 20 or so years ago it was magic to watch it again. The WHO are great.This song at the end of the movie will always be my favourite.We always wonder, did he just screw up his bike, cos when the bike went off the cliff, Jmmy was not there

That's at Beachy Head near Brighton. People jump these cliffs still to this day. Sometimes you see cars on these rocks. I haven't ever seen a vespa though. But it's sad, really.....
