Fortunately, this is not true. There is no constitution-free-zone. Although the federal government does infringe on quite a few of our civil liberties on a daily basis, there is no constitution free zone. Just because ACLU publishes an article on it, does not make it true. Everything has its own slant, nothing can be totally objective, and this is simply a misinterpretation or simply total falsehood.

@DeathByBurning I'm afraid it's more complicated than that. In the performance of their "duties" they can and do routinely violate the constitution. They don't call it a constitution free zone but that is, in effect, what it is. Border patrol can search or detain at their discretion which is hardly constitutional. The only thing positive to say about this is that it has not been used very much since this video was made.

I've had a cop take away my car because I was accused of not having any insurance or legal license. It was true at the time but procedurialy I was still in the accused stage so the state did not have any right to take away my car until I was found guilty of it in a court of law. When I complained about it to others they just said "Thats the law" as if that byitself is justification for anything they do. What if the law said "get bent"? Should people comply with that?

I pulled up a map not too long ago to see where this border ran. I was absolutely shocked to see that my home town in North Dakota is in this zone and I grew up on an air force base in the center of the state. That's one helluva buffer. Scary shit.
