  • 0:42 He forgot to say "Deluxe"! That's the best part!

  • I remember this game, was cool back in the days. I like the saturn version the best tho.

  • VIRTYA RACIN' !

  • lmao

  • can enyone tell me where can i download sega 32x emulator?

  • not necessary.Download Kega Fusion 3.61,it can emulate SG1000,SG3000(SMS),GameGear,Genesis/MegaDrive,SVP,Sega CD/MegaCD and 32X

  • Dreamcast 2 powaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!

  • hell yeah....i forgot about this game we used to play all the time...thx

  • it reminds me the opening of daytona usa =D same views and it looks like the games share the same graphic engine... the only dfifference is in textures lol ^^'

  • this game plays fine on the old gametap

  • Memories....LOTS AND LOTS of memories when I only had to worry about gettin in 1st place at age 11...now I need to worry bout gettin a degree in college!

  • That was the most fucking retarded comment I have ever read. Comparing a Playstation 3 game to a title that came out in 1994.

  • Yep,Zoomer30,you retard...F1 from PS3 is just a F1 premise for 2007,NOT 1994,You should respect retro-gaming and old games, because if it weren't for this game in particular,we wouldn't have had Gran Turismo,Daytona USA,Ridge Racer,Need for Speed,or F1 games. This started it all,and you compare this piece of platinum with a carbon thing that is HD crap, that bores me...

  • dude just because it has polygons doesn't mean that old games have the same graphics as newer games.

  • I know people say the 32X sucks but my best gaming memories are from star wars arcade and virtua racing

  • Second Video Game ever played, right behind Sonic 2.

  • this is probably the best home version ever.

  • not probably?!? IT IS THE BEST HOME VERSION EVER!!!

  • love that tune!

  • SEGA FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Micro$oft sucker

  • Woah!! Is it me, or does the "Virtua Racing" voice sound like Al Bundy?

  • Haha...he does. I never noticed that before.

  • gee. i have the Genesis version of Virtua racing. the game cartridge cost me a bomb back then.. and 3D graphics on Sega Genisis? ( mine was a Japan NTSC MegaDrive2) well.. boxy graphics.. but back then... what more can u ask for ? lol

  • Love love love for Virtua Racing!

    Thnak you,Yu Suzuki!

  • Oh man, I remember playing this on my 32X in like 1995 or 1996! That and Knuckle's Chaotix! Good times, good times!

  • to be honest I never noticed much difference in graphics between this and the regular genesis version. The voice didn't sound as muffled in the 32X and there were a few more options but that was it.

  • The megadrive version had the 3D chip inside the game cartrage. That is why the game cost about £80 (and 10 years ago that was worth more than now)

  • Yeah you are right about that. I just still think it is funny that for a 32bit upgrade, it didn't really do much. MKII for 32x is another good example. Sure we got more color and designs than the megadrive version but it still didn't look much better than the SNES 16bit version. I loved SEGA back then but the 32X really was a mistake.

  • The megadrive was actually more powerful machine. It did have a smaller colour pallet that the NES but its CPU was more powerful. The Snes success caught Nintendo by surprise, it was originally made just for RGP games with text and a picture. Most SNES games had an extra small CPU in the cartrage to help performance. That is why SNES games where about 10-20% more expensive.

  • Yeah I remember that being the case too. The Genesis/Megadrive had more power to it. Even the RPG's were better on the genesis/megadrive like phantasy star.

Always good to hear from someone else who truly understands and appreciates the Sega systems.

  • I know people say the 32X sucks but my best gaming memories are from star wars arcade and virtua racing

  • I LOVE YOU!!!

  • no!!! you were a mistake! your mom and dad didnt want you! you just happend!!! the 32x was made with love, the 32x is life!!! its the 90s!!! its the $100 dollars i paid for it!!! it was the most beautiful thing that i put inside my sega genesis!!!!!!!!!! and you say you loved sega back then??????????

  • Calm down Buddy. Don't get me wrong I still love the 32X but I just think as a marketing standpoint Sega didn't do what they should have with it. BRinging it out with the Saturn a few months ahead meant that programmers weren't gonna go 100% on the games. I still play mine BTW and never get tired of VF or Cosmic Carnage. In fact I just got a chill think about Kolibri and its orgasmic colors and gameplay. I love my 32X still so don't hate me. I love your devotion though. *sheds a tear*

  • i am sorry that i let things get out of hand, please forgive me.

  • No need to apologize. Its always great too see someone stand up for what they believe in. I admire your intensity and love for sega. I feel the same way you do about the 32X.

  • i loved my 32x too, but i unf traded it for a saturn, i loved the 32x virtua racing and is one of the most playeable games ive ever played, but is just behind sega rally on the Saturn, which is the only games i played on the 2 systems. AAaaah happy daze and youre doin a good jobfellas, keep it real and alive

  • Ahh you too. I did the same thing too cause Nights had me sold. But I did go and buy another one when dreamcast came out since they were cheap. Then my parents lost it the next year. Oh well at least I can still play the games on my cpu. Not the same but its as good as its gonna get.

  • dont repost, r u dum?

  • I dig the FM/PSG music B-)

  • Cute opening video. :-) I only played VR on arcades in early 90´s, but my favorite Sega Arcade racing always was Daytona USA. Greetings from Brazil. :-D
