This morning I was watching C-Span, and they had a guest and author named Peter Galbraith. He wrote a book called Unintended Consequences - How The War In Iraq Strengthened America's Enemies. I will certainly be promoting it. I think it is VERY important that this is documented before the coming election. If McCain or Obama gets into office, I want America to know that any attack that occurs against us is a direct result of our invasion of Iraq which occured on Bush's watch.

What McCain means is that we would stay in Iraq on a VERY TINY fraction of what we are now. Basically, we would have advisors to help the Iraqis, maybe a few soldiers to protect a few of our intrests, and thats about it.
Look at Korea, we fought that more than fifty years ago, and we're still in there. Yet has there been any casualties? No. McCain is explaining that we would basically keep non-combatants in Iraq.

Look at the great depression, at that point a small amount of the American population where living in 3rd world conditions, they banded together, pooled resources, and survived. True, times have changed and the current generations (mine included) think they are owed things, as such there may not be as much community building, as many people pulling together. I disagree coffeusa. My assertion is you would prefer Hillary. Hillary overdid it in the primary. The very minute she lost wisconsin, it was over. Yet she stayed in and continuously attacked Obama.
She went overboard. Bill dooesn't really help matters either since he has so much drama around him.
Biden is worth -$300 000. He is the working class of US. Biden is a teacher who hasn't significantly missed classes in 17yrs. The best choice for me. Clintons have too much drama

I am a Republican and don't believe you to be correct Adam. The media reports both sides of the issues. I have even seen Keith Olbermann give unfavorable reports on democrats. The Republicans look bad because they have done a bad job, tried to scare the people into submission and ruined the economy. Even schools are teaching America is a declining country now. Vote democratic this election, more of the same just won't work. Do what is right for the country, right for America and the world.
