hi how do you get a homebrew update to install, I downloaded a Homebrew & unzipped it and put it to my WD TV live Hard drive and it would not update. ?

Can I ask you something....I got a WD TV for 40 bucks new.... but the thing is its the v1 of the WD TV without ethernet port...can I watch youtube on it with a custom firmware or not?

hey dude i know little bet or may be u know more then me ...so u try may be this work !! in VISTA go to control panel and (Network and Sharing Center)
1 turn on PUBLIC FOLDER SHARING
2 TURN OFF PASSWORD PROTECTED SHARING( this on is important if u don't wanna have password and shit like that)
3 TURN ON MEDIA SHARING
thats it ....i hope that will help u out ;)

dude can u plz help me out my westren digital live hd every time i try to log into network share is asking me for my account and password i have try my everything i don't know what account is asking for? do u know is it asking for my windows log in account or the registration account?

It has problems logging onto Windows 7 accounts (I'm guessing you're using W7). You'll have to use a workaround. Search Google for WDTV Live login problems.

Great choice of TV show for your demo. I guess it also comes down to if someone is comfortable with the customized firmware or not. Not everyone will know where to look for it.
