Putting music on your Centro without software!

umm does it have to be itunes i dont have that since my ipod borke i have VLC media player

iTunes works only with Apples iPod. Palm has made a few adjustments to the Palm Pre by tricking the iTunes into thinking it was an iPod, but Apple quicky patched that up numerous times.

hey...friend giving me this phone for 40 bucks... i have windows vista, and itunes,.. and frostwire... so tommarow if he remembers to bring phone... im guna buy a micro SD and the other slots so i can put it in computer or what ever...so can i transfer my Itunes music into it??

Itunes only supports Ipod's, not Palm Centros. Is this some kind of a joke?

no.......... i put my itunes music into my psp...... like ... i got music from frost wiree... select all music then paste it in itunes..then i drag them from itunes into the file of my psp SD card or w/e .... well can i get music on my palm centro by transfering Itunes/Frostwire music into what ever File i Need to download for Palm centro music?

Oh ok. I though you meant connecting the Palm Centro to the Itunes and using Itunes to transfer the music to the phone, not by MicroSD. If you said can I transfer my Itunes music onto a MicroSD card, I would have told you a different set of instructions.

oh well yesturday i got the Micro sd and the other card... i connected it to the cpu... and draged itunes into the file and i got music :P it was easy but thanks!

Use the end of a pen or pencil and push until you hear it click then remove the pen and it should release.

i lost my installation disk..so when pluged in with the usb to the computer it doesn't recognize...bluetooth takes time...dont hav a card reader...any other way to connect the centro to the computer??

Yes, it should come with RealPlayer. You don't need PocketTunes. Only the RealPlayer supports only mp3, PocketTunes can support more formats other than mp3.

I wil be glad to help you. You need an SD memory card with the file called AUDIO. If you dont have one then create one, then put the desired music in that folder! When you done take it out and put in in the device!Anymore questions please reply!

Have you followed the steps in the video above? I am pretty sure that the steps are similar to the ones above! Instead of using a MicroSD card, use an SD card, YOU DO NOT NEED AN ADAPTER!! Anymore quesitons please reply!

Nice tips. I found it easier to buy a piece of software called "Cardreader" for my Palm which basically turns my palm into a USB device when plugged into my computer. I can then transfer music onto my microSD card without having to remove it from the phone.
