  • maaan everyone was on his nuts, you know he was getting it in lol.

  • Just watched all parts ...

What an artist! I love how he looked as well - Young & Handsome & a contrast to his contemporaries.

I was happy to see he visited my hometown - I'll remember & carry that ...always.

Hope he is remembered by Orleans folks ...

    Scott J & P Morphy!!!

That pic at the chess table with woman - Was that with Queen Victoria?

That sure was a great picture.

  • @broken1394 No, it's not. There's no picture of Queen Victoria and Morphy playing chess. If I'd found an actual photo of such an event, I would have put a subtitle under it. Photos of actual players, locations and such in this series have a subtitle under stating what they are.

  • I just watched all 6 parts and say that it was really great. Morphy was really good.

  • Thank you so much for making this! I watched the whole thing and am marveling at the elegance and whimsy of Morphy. Definitely an artist.

  • Good job Jess. Looking forward to your other future videos on the chess greats.

  • Very elegant and beautiful. Great job Jessica!

  • Exelent video series! I enjoyed it very much! Thanks a lot!

    RIP Morphy

  • Thanks for this post. You did an excellent job in its compilation.

  • This film was made possible only by the work of Batgirl (Sarah Beth) and Bill Wall- please click on the "more information" box to find their excellent Morphy historical websites
