Ahh this reminds me of the time I discovered whisp. He scared th ecrap outta me at first sight. But i remember my big sis and i sitting in the dark hunting for his spirits, and I remember specifically when it said he would remove allthe weeds. This songs reminds me off one of strange moments where you're just up REALLY late by yourself... and you kind of sit there with nothing on your mind and you have the strange urge to go eat a bologna fold over from your fridge cause you're kinda hungry. AKA the mischief you get up to early in the morning when its still dark, and it completely and utterly silent and there is nothing to do & sleep doesnt sound appealing.

A big difference I can tell between the new and old soundtracks was that this one seem to almost encourage you to stay up, while WW and CF seem to try to make you go to sleep.

I also like this. It gives Animal Crossing a kind of "creepy" feeling to it. This reminds me of Wisp so much. It's a shame though that they had to take him out of Wild World (or,actually, take him out of...Gamecube? Oh I don't know what I'm saying) but it's great that they put into City Folk. Although I have never went ghost-hunting myself, I hear it is a lot of fun and I have seen videos here about it. Anyway, the music...even though it doesn't sound like it would be for ~to b cont.~

Why aren't there more views and comments on this? I think there should be. I find this version of midnight's music much better than Wild World's midnight (but then again most hours music is repeated rather than having hour specific music played) this sounds much better, it has a creepy mysterious tone to it yet doesn't stray from the feeling of the other hour music played in the game, its really too bad the rest of the late night music couldn't be more like this one they're *To be continued*

I mean the feeling of 12am's music here was perfect for the ghost hunt with Wisp I mean its perfect music to hear while catching ghosts, (and I really hate the fact Wisp was removed in Wild World, I mean not everyone is going to have Wi-Fi, so how are you supposed to deal with your weeds when you've been gone a long time?) I really wished they had come up with some newer music in City Folk rather than reusing Wild World's music, but whats done is done, and theres nothing I can do about it.

I personally don't like this 12 am song. It's too spooky for an AC game. Although I like the GCN soundtrack 100 times better, WW has a better 12 am. I know you like it, as I read all 5 of your paragraphs explaining why.

Anyways speaking of music I kind of wish that they'd extened how long town tunes can be in the newer Animal Crossing games, because the ammount of notes they have there isn't enough for some songs I want to have as My town tune or don't have enough to make the town tune sound very convincing as a certain song.
