I think you are right about the cartoon potential for this one. I suspect that eventually some comedy movie or television show with a Halloween theme will want to use the song. I I thought it interesting you mentioned Disney. The story of this group would make a great Disney "made-for-TV" movie. When they finished high and should have ended it, they were being chased by a songwriter and a record label, not to mention international fans who had discovered them. They continue to sing!.
Well done ladies. Please take what I'm about to say as a compliment. I grew up with numerous cartoons that were basically the precursor of today's music videos. This song would be PERFECT for something that Disney Studios or Ub Iwerks would produce! If you know anybody who is talented at animation, find that individual and have this song made into a retro looking cartoon!
From my wife and I to you lovely ladies: have a blessed 2011 and keep up the great work!
@CharismanNr2 Lindsay is a soprano with some serious low range. When they needed a really powerful low voice, they put her on the 2nd alto/bass part. If you listen to Simple Gifts (Labeled "The Four Quarters") you will hear someone hit an extremely high note near the end--it's Lindsay. She can sing 1st soprano, 2nd alto or either of the parts in between. Because of that, the other 3 end up switching between 2 or more parts. I think it has made them better singers.
you should release a book with all your arrangements for young choirs to sing! Sarah and Kevin, this song is amazing! you should do more songs of your own! :D

Wow, this one is now on two Crystal Ball CD's. One is the Halloween compilation album "Love at First Bite" --hey they got both the title song and the photo on the cover! The other place to get this song is on the first Four Quarters CD, "A Pocket Full of Change." also produced by Crystal Ball.
I like the song. It is a really nice seasonal number. This time the piano part adds a lot of energy and atmosphere to the arrangement. The voices have matured a lot,. but you managed to find your 4Q blend and harmonies again this summer. The song is extremely well performed and you are making a good bit of progress on stage presentation. I love the edge that Lindsay puts on the lead vocals. A fun song and a very good performance of it.
@chelso92 Of course, Chelsea! Each of them has changed a lot in the last several years. When they began on Youtube, they were high school girls with little experience outside their own backyard. Now they are world famous college women who are more beautiful, poised, charming, and talented with each new video. Lindsay is especially expressive in this performance, although most of us knew she has significant theater experience. I'm especially struck by her eyes...so animated and captivating.
You spelled Hallowe'en with the apostrophe. The CD doesn`t have the apostrophe. This is soo confusing.A catchy enough song that Sarah wrote,on her own,and Lindsay reading always works.
i never knew this group is from canada but thats really cool EH ...ONTARIO!!!!!! whoop whoop
