Yes, somewhere around there. And that is not even using the full potential. Maybe just over half. Check out the 230 vid series on the new Level 4 flame. Both air and propane is turned down to the lowest settings and the end of the Joe Pipe is pumping oiut around 1. 900 F out of the end of the pipe. Just from the Joe Pipe being on pilot, you would be able to run your fridge and hot water tank. Turn it up a few notches and now you have super heated exhaust to heat a large ss grill or oven.
The test was to see if the heat was intense enough to turn the bottom of the ss dish orange. This did happen in previous testing using a stainless steel kettle.
copper would heat alot quicker alot of heat would be lost out the sides instead of conducting to the water
