Great video.......I love Westerly......very scenic and don't forget to visit the Whistle stop cafe if they are still in business. That cafe was great to have breakfast and watch a few fast trains at one of the very few last remaining grade crossings on the NEC.

Sadly they did close, after they switched owners, they went downhill, in a last ditch effort to regain lost profits, they jacked up the prices. $5 FOR 3 PIECES OF BACON! But yea, they went out of business about 6 months ago.

I always go to platforms where there is little or no service to avoid people getting in my videos. In MA, Forest Hills is a good place to go because the only trains that stop there are the Needham trains on Saturday.

If you ever ride on the MBTA Lowell line, Wedgemere station is slanted similar. It feels really weird inside the train.

if it didn't the passsenger would have to brace on each corner. it allows the train to go faster and prevents the passengers from having to brace.

WHAT I AM SAYING IS THAT, THE TGV IS RESTRICTED TO 187MPH (320KM/H) ON THE TGV MAINLINE! It is not allowed to travel at 574.8 km/h. It only brings passengers to their destination 37mph faster. It is not that big of a difference!

First of all, Learn how to spell Amtrak, Second, I don't care what you think about the acela. And Third, the acela is an Amtrak locomotive! FYI, we didn't build an entire new rail system, we built on existing infrastructure and we did a pretty good job. BTW, im not sure if you know what the limeted speed for the TGV is. It is 187mph. Thats not much faster than the acela. 37mph Faster!

The way the Acela jumps out from behind that Regional is a truly spectacular shot. I wish it had been going faster! Also, despite the dad and kid talking in the background, that last AEM-7 arriving was a great shot, especially because 937 had a real bell!

Great Camera! if you had filmed this longer you could have asked the engineer to blow the horn when departing. If he blew the horn you might have waqnted to move back to maybe the first or second car so the horn wouldn't scare you and ruin the video because of how loud they are.
