In french polynesia, we use line setter, but the speed of the line setter is faster than yours.(about 2knots faster than the boat speed). I created a system with a software and a tachometer. you can see it on my youtube chanel

Been strongly thinking of takeng this line of work back up but unable to do so for a few months. I have contacts for boats out of Mooloolaba, Qld. Brett i think the guys name is.......
