Not true, Gonzo played his best tennis in 2007 , he became number 5 reaching the Australian Open final and was one match away from becoming number 3 but got injured. He played all 2009 and 2010 injured and went on to have cirgury on his hips 5 months ago, it's not like he hasn't defeated Roddick before, I believe 4 times against 10 losses. IMHO Gonzalez is a much better player, Roddick is nothing without his serve

Defeating another player doesn't mean you are better, Gonzalez has defeated Federer, Nadal, Djokovic several times and I woudn't stated he is better than them, he has lost to Murray and Andy is way beneath Gonzos level when playing at his regular/best.

@Gondee technically gonzo is better (has way better forehand, better backhand, better return etc) while roddick only is better in serve. but the reason why as a whole roddick is a better player is cus this dude has some amazing work ethic and mental strength. i mean look at his skills and compare them with the top guys, except for his serve he will  lose in EVERY department but he still managed to be a consistent top 10 player EVERY year for the past 10 yrs. dude got my respect.
