I've got a 37 gallon freshwater tank. Do you think this is the right product for my set-up or would you suggest the 550 gph model. I want something strong enough to circulate the water, but I don't want to overwhelm the fish. Also, do you run yours around the clock or shut it off at night? Thanks for your help.
Hello, I just purchase a 150 gallon tank along with 2 Fluval 406 filtration pumps to help filtrate the water. My intentions is to have live plants and at least 5 variety of freshwater fish such as: 4 Baby Arowana, 6 large Blue shubunkin goldfish, 2 Florida Gar and two other fish which I haven't decided. My question to you is. How many circulation pumps for the variety of fish I plan on having, Would I need to keep a consistent circulation in my fish tank? I say 2
@pranksterDoug Doug, although I don't know too much about reef or saltwater aquariums, I do know that they do require more current and flow than regular freshwater aquariums. The Evolution 750 provides just the perfect flow needed for my 75g aquarium. I would think it would be safe to say that two of these for your 65g reef should be okay.
It's scripted and horrible!

Would this powerhead be suitable for a heavily planted 90 gallon high tech?

Do you Recommend this one for a 150 Gallon Aquarium ?? Or should I get a more powerful one ?
DgosFinnest 10 months ago
@DgosFinnest I would get a more powerful one, this 750 provides just perfect flow for a 75g.
