I traveled to Ireland in the summer of 2001 with The People to People Student Ambassador Program. I must say, I immediately fell in love with Ireland and its people!!! I've never seen a more beautiful country or met a friendlier people out of the few other countries I've visited. The people there made me feel more at home than I do in my own country (America). We visited Dublin and everywhere in between to the southern tip of the country. I will go back one day. May peace be with all of Ireland!

I can't stop playing this, I never get tired of it, headphones on, my iPhone turned right up. I'd of paid anything to have been there, it's very sad that in today's "music" there is nothing like this.. Real music and actual talent died many years ago. Shame!

I've been a fan of Simple Minds since I was a wee boy and heard 'Waterfront' on a TV mini series called The Justice Game. It remains one of my favourite songs to this day.

I can't believe I've never seen them live but I hope to rectify that at Edinburgh Castle this year and if they're anything like they are in this vid I'll be a very happy man!

@70719800 They are what they are. Brilliant with all aspects of not only music but life. Most crash and burn. Some bands last forever even after they die. I remember this song with lucidity. Everyone was ranting about Don't You, which is a cool song, however this one is so much better its scary. It still gives me chills 28 years later.
