Its amazing how handy you are with welding... great improvement... in regards to the black paint heat problem... (i know you probably dont want it to get any heavier, but) you could weld long rectangle strips kinda like fins onto the sides of the radiators to act as a "heatsink" to aid in cooling... and another idea i had was to paint your hopper black so it will warm up even more (i read somewhere on the net that hot air before pyrolosis in the fuel column makes the gasifier more efficient
