@YoungHPT Leave it to you to spell like a fucking idiot and capitalize random words. If you don't like the LM, then shut the fuck up and don't watch the video. Get it? Got it? Good.
@spyke99999 Fuck are u talking about i didn't spell anything wrong u dumb HONKY TONK BITCH...leave it up 2 white people 2 try correcting people on youtube 2 try 2 make themselves fell smart even though they still stay in there moms basement......fuck this lame ass piece of shit i done spent more money on blunts then he did with this GARBAGE, n fuck u 2 WHITEBOY
@YoungHPT And I bet I've spent more on my education than all your cars and "blunts" put together. Who said I was white? And even if I was, what does it have to do with this? I don't give a fuck what color you are, you sound like a complete dumbass. Keep smoking your weed and being an inbred fuck, I'll keep making money and sense.
@YoungHPT well actually i don't believe he was actually saying you spelled anything wrong but referring to your use of capitalizing certain words and you actually did spell something wrong because its two not 2
can anyone help me? im 16 just got my permit and hopefully getting a job soon i know how to drive stick shift because i drove a corvette before but should i get the v6 or v8 firebird? also i was thinking of year 98-02 also if anyone has seen any for sale for a low price that would be awesome thanks and by the way the person who put this beautiful video of the car up thanks:)
dont ever say v6 birds or camaro's aren't fst.thats is not true.v6 birds and v6 camaros 3.8 in 98-02 were an awsome car.i have an 02 ws6 and i just said v6 3.8 liters were fast which they were.trust me unless u are a braket drag racer you will never need the power of either one.
our ls1's are under rated but the vette is still lighter and does have different stock components than we do, its easy to get 350hp out of the ls1 anyhow so no matter even if it is a tad slower stock, which it is so dont bust on blizz cause in a sense your both right, most of my friends are mechanics and i race frequently, the information is avalible in many places if you don't beleive me
oddwraith sorry to shit on your parade, but i own a 02 ss its dynoed 325hp stock, which means it had been underated, but the vette motor has a different chip you can send that to gm and they can reflash it for you, the vette ls1 came with a different cam and headers, and the "noise" muffler around the intake was also removed, thats the huge plastic box behind your air filter, you can buy a 3in pipe kit from slp and remove that box and you will easily gain just as much as buying an intake
Firehawk is a modified Trans Am...which is just an upgraded firebird with a few body changes as well.
Most will say the Trans Am is not a firebird at all...they are idiots. Saying a Trans Am is not a firebird is like saying a GT Mustang is not a Mustang, or a Z28 Camaro is not a Camaro.
Anyway, the Firehawk is a true beast, features the best hood and tail in my opinion, :).
the firehawk is a rarity and upgrade by SLP from the Trans Am. I think it puts out 50 more horsepower than a stock Trans Am so like 385. The firebird is a v6 and is rated at 200 horsepower.
A firehawk is rated at 330hp at the flywheel, of course that's under rated. When you see a stock Z/28 dyno at 280+ whp which is 330hp roughly at the crank a firehawk/SS should have closer to 350-360 at the crank thanks to the better flowing exhaust and intake.
Also here's a fun fact, a V6 firebird uses the same suspension (spring rates and whatnot) and brakes as the Trans Am.
The V6 firebird has lighter duty front springs(they will not hold the weight of the lt or ls) and drum brakes in the rear. The 5-spd V6 cars did have rear disks, but still the lighter front springs.
I was talking about the 98-02 firebird V6s. They all have 4 wheel disc brakes and ABS, and look up the spring rates and shocks their the same as the T/A for 98-02.
Nice, but it will sound raspy as fuck if you put headers on it. I had that on mine, slp catback with slp longtube headers , and off road pipes. Than i put a borla on it and sounded way better. If you don't put headers on it, it will sound great with just the slp like you have it now. NICE CAR
Dude i have had the magnaflow, and now i have the LM1, the magnaflow doesnt sound nearly as good as the LM, u should go with the lm....im running the same set-up as he is just the slp lm and the y-pipe...nice vid man
the loud mouths and the dynomax race bullet are going to be the 2 most aggressive exhaust systems you can buy for these cars. flowmaster, magnaflow and borla dont even compare to dynomax bullet or loudmouths.
RPO WU6 code is a firehawk the iroc inspired rear spoiler with the super wide CHMSL is optional content not standard content, nice hawk i have a 02 hawk #047 383superchaged
very true. i have a stock 01 TA, (not ws6) factory rated at 310 hp. i bought it in '02. sveral months after, i had it dynoed at 327 rwhp. go figure...
yeah, TheMrRichard is used to looking at WS6 hoods with a pair of scoops that are raised a couple of inches instead of the Firehawk hood that gets air from beneath the hood huh. looks clean and sounds good
This Firehawk was ordered in February 2002 with Bilstein, Hurst shifter, and chrome Firehawk wheels.
Firehawks have Ram Air yet the hood is much different than WS6 hoods. This car was manufactured in St. Therese Canada then shipped to SLP for conversion then back to St. Therese for QA. They sent base model Trans Ams to SLP since the hood was replaced with a fiberglass Firehawk Ram Air hood.
This video is meant to show folks how the LS1 sounds with SLP Loudmouth exhaust and SLP Y-Pipe.
if you're saying this isn't a firehawk because of that you're dumb. It's highly possibly a firehawk, they had Firehawk Formulas and Firehawk Trans Ams. learn.

For 1998-2002 Pontiac utilized the same heavy duty brakes, steering ratios, fuel pumps and shocks (non-WS6) on both V6 and V8 models.
That's from wikipedia

@srcej6 That is true with the springs being the same as a Base TA only from 01-02.
