There is no comparison to '87-'92 Jordan. None. That version was a machine. Comparisons only begin with an old '96-'98 Jordan, but he still was the best.
That last dunk was freaking sick......completely blew past his defender, then elevate head and shoulders above 2 helpers and smashes it down in their faces
@jxn23 All of us found out originally from my good friend the fact that he have got incredibly better in the game of basketball using "50inch vertical (dot) com" - maybe you want to try that
Jeff Hornicek, or better known as Horny, didn't have a chance. Like most of the guys MJ faced off against, he was to big, to strong, and to powerful! Go MJ!
Kobe can shoot the 3 all day and still not shoot over 34%. Look how mike came to the hole, that aint kobe's game. the dunks, jumpshots assist. please competition is none!
It was just unfair. Like putting a teenager on an 8 yearold Y team. 2:04 is hilarious, the pass at 3:00, 3:10 against Hornacek(AN ALL STAR!!!) 3:32-these are BACK TO BACK TO BACK PLAYS!!!, 4:32, 4:43 is like the NASTIEST dunk I've ever seen and oh yea, he hits the game winning shot!
Really no player exudes more excitement than Michael Jordan, fans does'nt care at all if Bulls is losing, just look how happy the fans in gallery back in those Jordan era. Kids have no idea how exciting MJ to watch.
I find myself sayin' Wah whaaa, can't even say what! He hops up on one foot on a pullup on Hornacek, smiles after a reverse over three guys, and T.R. Dunn? Sorry!
Jordan's done and only Christ can cleanse from sin and truly satisfy!
Yeah, there are a LOT of awesome in-game dunks I've seen on my Bulls games that were never featured in any highlight tapes. They always show the same stuff, and it makes you think that that's all he did. But he had some absolutely NASTY stuff that's never/rarely seen, like the one here.
Thanks for the rare video. What a pleasure to watch # 23 in action. His game was so much ahead of any player who ever played past or present. He was truly an artist with unmatched skill level complimented by god gifted talent. Today players cheaply immitate Mike but fall so short of his stature.
Yeah they did lose this one. It was before the bulls pulled it all together in the playoffs and defeated Cleveland and New York. They lost to the eventual champion Pistons in 6 games but might have won the series had Pippen not been literally knocked out in the opening minutes of Game 6.
Too bad they probably lost this game. It was before the Bulls got their team groove on. I feel so bad for the Bulls' opponents though. He made them look terrible.
rare footage, great game,it's just another game to prove the fact:when jordan scored 50 plus points,he shooted the ball with high percentage and still contributed on the rebounds and assists, and he average around 3 steals a game in that year if i remember it correctly,
0.0; 20-28 shooting... with 16 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block... wow.. i'm in loss of words. i truly am. words cannot describe how awesome this guy was. the best all-around player ever. no doubt.
I hear ya. I've watched MJ from his days at UNC thru his professional career. And I'm still trying to figure out why people are under the impression he didn't shoot the ball well until later in his career. He's ALWAYS been a good shooter..he just never had to rely on it because of his godly physical gifts that enabled him to attack the rim like no other..
Word. How can people not acknowledge that MJ was a great shooter even early in his career when his field goal percentage was better than 50%? You'd think people should have common sense but apparently they don't.
@uberathlete It just amazes me seeing this footage. Although it's widely appreciated that he was the best player ever, it still seems people forget how good he was. He was not a particularly good 3 point shooter but his jump shot was phantastic. It is just incredible to see in how many ways he can score, on the break, in traffic, left, right, with the back to the basket, by simply accelerating and so on. And his passing game is also underrated. Whenever the defense collapses he gets an assist.
is it me or MJ travelled at 0:35 ??!!

i admire phil jackson and even think he is the greatest coach ever, but with that said i now think he is the dumbest coach!

Phil Jackson never said that, this guy always says this on other videos but others have found Phil never said anything like that
